Awesome!! My wife works at Wilkins RV in Bath now.. she is allowed to "borrow" a used model of any kind up to 3x per year.. We cant wait to use one. Trying to get her into camping, and i think being able to "borrow" one for free (they even prep it and deliver it, pick it up and clean it when done) .. Bene waiting 10 years to get her into camping..

I didnt see many on mine, but they need to be released again. My ancient crab apple 4' across at the trunk.. fell over this winter.. very sad. it put on thousands and thousands nearly every year.. The late dropping pears i planted a of couple years ago are loaded.. -
Is there a new pistol law now ??

Agreed, and in the long run.. more people will likely die as there is less "good guys" around carrying concealed in public. Its a total shame empty minded people can control like this. -
What's everyone using for Waterproof Hunting/Hiking boots? I bought a pair of Mid height Keens and as comfortable as they are, they certainly aren't waterproof.. Walking into a damp early morning field this spring.. my feet were soaked 10 steps in.. Not wanting to break the bank but.. curious as to what you guys are using.. the boot would double as an around the house work boot in summer months.. Thank in advance

General rule of thumb with perennials(besides Alfalfa) is to not cut more than a 1/3 of the plants height. you really just want to top clip the plant, but mow back the weeds. a mowing would certainly do this plot good. Is that rye or wheat growing in your plot? Or grasses? -

Is there a new pistol law now ??
LET EM GROW replied to luberhill's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
ID imagine it will.. People already have their permits and have proven they are good standing citizens. Theres groups already building lawsuits.. -
The only thing i don't like about the pedestals is the big bulge on the opposite side of the deer's neck below Jaw line. I know they have a huge muscle developed there, but it just seems extra large on every pedestal I've seen.. Mine is the same way..

I have two that make book and have zero desire to enter them. never even crossed my mind, The certified State scorer (a friend) asked if i wanted to.. Nope .. No thanks. Dont care for it. If others do, thats fine, their choice.

Is there a new pistol law now ??

No its for every CC holder. Course isnt even developed yet. And must be completed by September 3, 2023. People have already done the math and Genesee has 8,000 Permit holder and would take 22 people per day to meet criteria, Wyoming county has 13,000 permits.. it would take 35 per day every single day to fulfill this Sept 3 '23 requirement.. Niagara county has 38,500 and would take 105 a day to fulfill, Erie has 90,000 and would require 250 people to class every day to fulfill.. IT is impossible!! The numbers are crazy but Libs don't care! This is for EVERY CONCEAL CARRY PERMIT IN STATE.. -
I would never enter one..
-
No way! Those Books/Clubs are stupid IMO. I Have zero desire to enter an animal.. Even if it was a top dawg.. Id rather shoot a low scoring mature whitetail over a younger higher scoring buck any day of the week..

Above ground pool... What am I getting myself into?
LET EM GROW replied to mowin's topic in General Chit Chat
I installed a pool for my mother in law and one for my brother in law last summer. ITs a fun project and much better than waiting months for installation. and much cheaper lol. Just have to make sure everything is tamped and frame leveled and supported.. Im not much into maintenance on them, but i know once the water is clean and clear its really only a vacuum once or twice a week and a little shock here and there.. -

Yes, a 16 hour course. 14 hour in class, and 2 hour hands on training. There's lawsuits already being started against this.. Also the number of CC holders this state has, Idk how they could efficiently get everyone through this course in a year.. -
Have you tried Hammer bullets? Iam switching to them this year, Drop some bullet weight and increase velocity a few hundred fps

Give it a fresh cut. You can also spray cleth to control those grasses -
It Means alot when a former taxi man chooses another Taxi to do some whitetail work him! And That mount is nothing short of amazing my man, and probably my favorite all around
-
Thats too far my man lol

Its probably your bearings, not the shaft, but if the bearings have been shot for a long time your shaft could be bad as well. If you can, buy the whole spindle unit, to make life more simple, and an easier repair on your end.

a bottom land flat brim HNY hat would be sweet right about now!

My wifes grandmother has a single peach tree in her yard, not sure if it was a pit that grew from seed or if planted but its young(less than 10 years old) and put on a ton of fruit every year. Would do better if she listen to me about pruning it properly.
-
Had a young bear behind my house the other night. My daughter got to see it, for the first time and she was in awe.

I pick fruit trees that will drop fruits when i want deer to eat them to aid in hunting opportunities. Mostly late dropping fruit. Theres a member here that grafts custom trees to drop at many times of the season. I planted a few December dropping pears 3 years ago that were about 3' tall and today are about 12-15' tall. Also have some late dropping crab apples that grow well but the deer are really fighting to get at all my young fruit trees in the winter. I like my trees dropping at different times of season and especially some late season droppings for herd health..

Dude, I was looking into those well. How compact and simple it is, and your gun can still be used like a standard rfile.. It is really freakin cool. I was planning a visit to his shop soon, to put hands on one, but since I machined him a ton of stuff to sell at his store, per his request and a few favors on my end. I never even received a thank you or nothing.. so my opinions on him and his business are beginning to change. Same with the guy who he has as a "field/pro staffer" lol. The idea of the clip on is simply bad a$$
