Nice rifles! Great that they are exactly what you expected. Now just dial those beauties in, and go kill some deer with em!

That is what it's all about right there! If ever I lose my excitement for the hunt, I'll hang up my hunting hat for good. At this point for me, hunting with young hunters renews my excitement. Seeing the wide eyed, shaky legs, stuttering voice, when they see a deer coming in is priceless.

My 13 year old grandson and I hung this cam together, after brushing in the nearby ground blind. First thing he says, after seeing the pic's is "grampy, that ten point would look so good on my wall"! I told him it certainly would, and what a first deer it would be! Keep practicing with that bow son. I'm hoping he has lots of beginners luck!

Dandy buck! Hope ya get em!

Can I borrow your truck for deer season? Nice pic's buddy!

Happy Birthday Eddie! All the best for you today! Enjoy it all!

Had mine done on May 4th. I've come a long way with the physical therapy, but still not 100% yet. Maybe 70%. But I am shooting my bow! Wishing you good luck and will send good thoughts and prayers. Listen to those PT people and work hard!

Got this cam from my buddy wooly last spring. Call it my lucky wooly cam! And it is! Got a couple of shooters for this part of 4-H! And some deer porn too! If you look past the doe, you can see my ground blind in the background. Would love to see my grandson get one of these guys. C'mon October 1st.!!!

Great catch! No doubt, it was a good fight from the yak, trying to balance and play the fish too! Nice job!

Sending all the best Birthday Greetings to a great guy! Have a great day and an awesome year my friend!
-
Heck, they'd be shooters this year, in my neck of the woods in 4-H! Nice pic's.

Welcome! Now that you're a member, we're all here for ya! Just get out there on all that state land that's close to you. And "just do it"!

Dogs have been accompanying successful hunters for thousands of years. If you're not successful, don't blame the dog. If I were to go 0 for 15, I'd have more issues with my hunting, than having a dog in camp.

Sako 85 Classic in 270. Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40. Loading Winchester Power Max Bonded in 130 gr. Can't wait to carry this baby on opening morning!

Last year, I let em all walk except one. Right before I shot my buck last year, I was watching two yearling bucks for quite a while. Every hunter has the choice to shoot or not to shoot whatever is legal. Shoot what you like and like what you shoot!

Great vid of a great buck! He sure is handsome! What are ya calling him......sunspot? ...grin.

Congratulations Cap'n! She's a beauty! Get out and get some fish blood on that deck! Wish you tight lines and smooth sailing.

If I did all my preparation right, and put myself in the right place, I expect to kill a deer shortly after legal light on the first day! Seldom have I done "everything" right. And thats ok too.

There is always a tractor or wheeler running on our farm property. The deer are used to it. They will stand or be bedded down only a few yards away as you just putt by them, and occasionally we even see good bucks, coming in or out in the dark. Just putt by and don't stop or raise the motor RPM's. If they see you walking though, they will be gone hundeds of yards before you even get to them. We never park closer than 500 yards from where we hunt. And always park on a field edge, in tall grass, or hedgerow, as most all our stands are in woods or thicker areas. But my lake property is entirely different. It's a huge funnel on a side ridge. We ALWAYS walk into our set ups over there. It really does all come down to what the local deer are conditioned to seeing and hearing on a given property.

It always puts a smile on this "old" guy's face, when I see the "youngsters" eager to participate in outdoor stuff! Here's my grandson/hunting buddy.

Man that is cool! Congrats again Fletch!

As the intrest in MMA grows, so will the money made by the MMA fighters. Once that happens, boxing will play second fiddle to MMA. Lets face it, Mayweather's fights for the most part are boring. On the other hand, even the undercards of a MMA fight are more fun to watch than most of the championship boxing matches. The writing is already on the wall for the future of boxing.

Awesome! First posted kill of the season! A hearty congratulations to that young man. Looks like his future is bright!

Sweet looking rifle! Hope to see a picture of it lying across a deer this fall!
