    I was trying to get in shape,but i think i buggerrd up my previously fragmented meniscus. I think i have a little tear now,get a nice jolt of pain when it doesn't line up right. Hopefully it will wear of some before deer season... I am more familiar with knee injuries than i care to be... I was hoping to go up to a friends camp near speculator.

    BH at 36,little uphill angle. I am almost out of deer meat,the first good doe i see is gonna have to be very careful,i dont care how warm it is Oct. 1st.

    Broadhead at 45 yds. My bow is tuned well,i just have to get the shims on the top cam switched. My rest and sight are almost maxed to the left,so the stroke of the bow is not quite in the right spot.

    you could call the local police or firestation,they sometimes have contact info for people that would catch your bees.

    High again in 4F. I cant remember not getting a DMP. Wait,i think once in the last 9 years. Tons of does around we hunters are not managing to put a dent in the population.

    Fresh tomatoes and mozzarella with basil and oil and balsamic vinegar. This is a summer staple here,quick and easy and tastes like summer.

    Good video,thanks for the link. I went for lighted nocks this year so i can tell where i hit the deer. That was getting harder for me and is an important piece of info.

    First shot was one of the dark arrows at about 40. I was trying to see if my two kinds of arrows hit the same,but the vaps are a little low i guess. Happy with the groups though.

    I am trying the Montec G5 this year,switched from the muzzy three blade. I found some of the muzzys wouldn't spin very well on my arrows,got a wobble. The only time they did not work was when i hit a doe either in the spine or high shoulder,but not much would have.

    How much is the fee for.an ASA qualifier? There was one locally last weekend,i just wanted to shoot the 3D course really,but was afraid the entry fee was a lot more than usual.

    I also cant remember if i replied before. I own 32 acres,and hunt a friends 300 acres pretty hard with one buddy. It is just 1 1/2 miles from my house. I could get more probably,but wouldn't have the time to hunt it. Also spend some time at my buddies camp,1/2 hr from here,he owns 50 and there is several 100 acres of county land up there as well.

    So true. Things just got really dry as chanterelle season is about to kick off. My shroom season is non existent so far this year. Bust on Morels,but i hope for some hen of the woods. I found good spots last fall.

    Had some friends over for a woodfired pizza party tonight,these are the leftover pieces...i made too much dough,but they will taste good tomorrow.

    You really got your spots figured out,i am impressed. I have a few sparse chanterelle spots close to my house,but no sign yet... The ones you got there look awesome. The bugs and slugs hit ours fast....

    It is awesome to be able to hunt close to your house. I have three stands i can get to in less than five minutes. Perfect for even just a half hour or hour sit at either end of the day.
