Given how well it shoots (so far anyway...), I'm a little surprised that I can't find more info online about it. This actually made me a little anxious about buying it. I think that it's just overshadowed by all the press on the super adjustable entry level models that are available right now.

Well I took the plunge. Bought a new to me 2018 Diamond Provider. Got it for a wicked deal. My old bow was and still is a lot of fun to shoot. It's a 2009 Diamond Razor Edge. It has a comfortable draw cycle, but I worry that it's a little slow, and a little noisier than I would have liked. A few months back I started casually looking into an upgrade. I wanted something that was easily adjustable, was more current, and that would solve my speed and noise needs. With an all in budget of about $300, I was waffling between new, entry level bows and several year old but mid level deals. There are a handful of newer rigs out there that have great reviews. I was looking at Bear Cruzer G2, Diamond Infinte Edge models or the SB-1 if going new, or various models from the past few years for the mid level. I settled the Diamond Provider. Not much in the way of online information, but it seems to be a more hunter focused version of the Infinite Edge lineup. The RAK package retails for around $475, and I was able to get it in like new condition for $180. This single cam model has a 31" ATA length, 7 1/2 BH, and weighs in at only 3.2lbs. I have it set to 29.5" DL and 62 lbs DW. I took it to Sportsmans Warehouse over the weekend to have their archery guys take a look at it. The tech was with F&S before the take over and I'm glad to see that he survived the merger. I've spoken with him a bunch and brought him some work in the past. He's a good dude with a bunch of experience. He took a look at the bow, adjusted the DL module for me, moved the peep, added a kisser, etc.. and I took my first 30 shots or so. WOW! This thing is awesome. It may not be the fastest bow on the market, but these arrows come off the string like missiles and the bow does not make ANY noise at the shot. No hand shock or vibration to speak of either. Very happy with my upgrade and can't wait to get outside to put it to good use!

I had roughly 15 years in between 2 companies in various management roles. Then back at the end of 2019 I made the jump from a corporate gig to healthcare. Now I'm working through all of this craziness. One of the best moves I've ever made. Feels good going to work each day knowing that I'm contributing to an organization that helps people and helps the community.

So if they drop later, does that mean new antler growth is delayed and then potentially smaller racks this coming season?

I'm looking at upgrading my rig. On paper and in the expert reviews, this seems like a nice bow. Does anyone on here have any first hand experience with it? I can't find many user reviews online.

The part that worries me in all of this is that people are scared and they are reacting. In my opinion (for what it's worth) people who are uneducated about firearm safety and are buying up guns and ammo out of fear are dangerous. It's the their right to purchase and keep them as much as it is our right as hunters.

I've run across a few vehicles like this and never understood how they came to be left in the woods and forgotten about. -
When did it become normal not to keep supplies at home ?

My family is set on some things. Meat and canned goods, rice, etc. I managed get a case of TP on Amazon before it was too late. This things I look for are things like milk, coffee, and the produce. I keep a little hobby garden in the yard, but that only produces in late summer. -
Man that's I've awesome mount. You did a great job with it!

This is a family favorite. I leave them whole and freeze them. When I'm ready, I marinate them with olive oil and apple cider vinegar (1:1) and Montreal steak seasoning for at least 24 hrs. Then I get the coals in the fire pit good and hot. I put the strap on a spit and grill it whole, rotating it every couple minutes. I use this recipe to turn skeptics into believers.

Had a GSXR a few years back. Man that bike was fun to ride. Top speed I hit on it was 140 coming down 390 at 4 in the morning in April. Fun in the moment, but in hindsight it was dumb for more than one reason. Eventually the wife said that if I want kids, the bike had to go. It was an easy choice, but I do miss riding. Every now and then I peak at cruisers on CL.. @chrisw that's a nice looking bike!

I had a pair of something similar. Great idea, but wasnt practical for me. They were just one more thing to carry to and from the stand, and they were bulky. Then when I got to stand, trying to quietly get them on was a pain. In my experience, they would be good to keep in an enclosed blind. But if you have access to an enclosed blind you may already have a heater, so boots like this become unnecessary. -
I know what I said before about being content with my current setup, but I took a peak at the AT site just to see what's on there.. hmmmm.... There are quite a few on here that caught my eye.. the only problem is that you can't test a 2 or 3 year old model prior to buying..

Got the call around 5 that Greece schools are closed. This is my son's first snow day. I had to explain it to him. He was sad that he wouldn't be able to see his friends today! Haha he'll come around.. we've got a thick ice crust and it's snowing like crazy up near the water.
