It's amazingly stupid. NYS is in debt up to it's ears, only second to California and it seems the number 1 priority for Cumo is to spend more money to regulate legal gun owners, enforce socialist laws on us. I might understand if I thought it would save one life, but we all know it won't.

If the gov't keeps pushing gun owners in this way, the stuff is gonna hit the fan.

The NICS for ammo has been up for a while. It was pre-introduced last session for the beginning of this session. On one of these threads is a link to current NY State pending legislation. Lots of good stuff up, like NICS checks for ammo, regulating the number of rounds you can buy per month. I think I even saw one about brass being serialized and made unlawful to reload.

OK, so if they do, exactly what do you intend to do about it?? Democrats are over 50% of the registered voters out there(and growing in comparison to republicans), so exactly how will you change their minds?? Just spewing BS that the democrats suck, will get you NOWHERE! It would seem to me that it would be worthwhile to think up a plan on how to try to reason with these people, instead of only trashing them. Unfortunately to me it seems like our side has NO plan.
