So, my buddy's kids pet rabbit just died.

He's looking to have a "service and burial" tonight and I have been recently curios about making rabbit's foot keychains. Is that wrong to ask for the feet? If it is not wrong, how difficult is the process to turn them into keychains?

Jeez...as i re-read this post, even i am wondering, "is this guy serious?" We'll, i am and where else can I ask this question but to NYHUNTERS! Don't tell PETA!

Well I will tell you I just buried my female beagle yesterday ( 3 - 1/2 hours ) to dig a hole with my JD bucket. She was sick all last week and died Sat.night.She was only 9 years old loved to hunt and the last 3 days she could not even walk.If she were a pet rabbit and you asked that question,I would tell you to get off of my property and never come back.

Gt...I am terribly sorry about your lose and totally understand your position. I would never consider even asking if there were the bonds that happen between owner and rabbits similar to owner and dog. I trul am sorry if I offended you

Man! ...... That's cold.....lol. If there's an old stump nearby, maybe you could have the kid hold the pet rabbit in position so you could chop the feet off easier.

Is rabbit season closed now? I would say that maybe you should go out and get your own rabbit. Even your buddy may look at you a little strange if you ask him....lol.

I just can't believe some of yours comments. My we all forget our childhood. How many of u had a pet u loved and the feelings u had when it died. Would u want someone digging it up or cutting the feet off of it. Come on people, have a heart.

Your right....full body mount, so the kid can keep the wabbit in his room for life!
