Your random number generator thing for your contest was a great idea.  So stealing that right now!

trouble makers are what makes a site move. If we all agreed on everything then where would the 15 page threads be? haha

not when two groups of friends despise another group over slights that happened on another forum so it spilled over to my board causing me to weild my ban hammer.

I did go on there over the weekend to get some advice on which glue to use for fletching.  In the past I used Goat Tuff and didn't have a good experience.  It might have been the glue, the Fusion Vanes I was trying, or just my fletching skills.  This time I went with the LocTite Gel control glue and back to blazer vanes.  I fletched up a dozen arrows and they held up fine.  The Loctite gel glue is great stuff.

Any AT members on here?

Archery talk for me is just a freeforall, and I get a strong sense that a lot of the hunters from other parts of the country have a negative view of NY hunters or just NY'ers in general by comments I've heard on that site . Seems a lot of them see themselves as some super hunter whos ethics and ways of hunting just cant be questioned, especially by NY'ers. That's why I prefer this site, we are all kinda in the same boat here and a lot of us have had similar life experiences in the field and where we live. I haven't posted on AT much in the last couple years. To me staying local is best.

Get on AT every couple of days to check classifieds for deals. I also like to check out the bow make specific page (Diamond archery in my case). Lots of things can be learned from there and on this site. Since you are just getting into archery I would definitely recommend using this site first for any questions. Most all of the guys in here are more than willing to help, and quite often are close by and can recommend pro shops in your area for professional assistance.
