cdmckane
Whichever one is closest to the door and has ammo in it! That's actually a really hard question. I'm comfortable grabbing any of my 4 for anything out to 150 yds. I guess, if I HAD to pick a go-to it'd be my Savage 220 with a 3-9x40 Weaver shooting 2 3/4' Hornady SSTs loaded with 250gr FTX slugs.
MACHINIST
Remington Stainless 700 in 308,but I did just buy a Winchester model 100 in 308 and wil be trying that this year I think.
noahmstone
It was an old savage 110e in .243 win with a bushnell 3-9x40 with 100gr. Remington core lokts but my father asked for it back because he might start hunting again. So I bought a Browning xbolt micro hunter 7mm-08 with a Nikon prostaff 3-9x40 with 140gr. Federal fusions that I am hoping is as reliable and lethal as that old savage. Edited September 22, 2013 by noahmstone
