Celebrating wife’s 50th birthday and 23rd wedding anniversary 2 days ago. Left bank in Buffalo. Wild mushroom bisque, tuna tartare, beef tenderloin tournedoes with mushroom ragout , horseradish cheese, smoked apple bacon and chèvre mashed taters. Key lime tarte for dessert

Pulled venison.... Crockpot on low for 18 hours, orange juice, sweet baby rays and a touch of liquid smoke.  I like it smothered in horseradish... Good stuff

Possibly the only vegetarian meal I’ll allow cooked in my house... Lentils with salt bread.  So good!

Haven't been down there in years. Do they still sell "a piece of the rock". For those not in the know they used to make a 6 foot Italian sub every day and sell a slice at a time...sooo good!

Braised Veal shank with potatoes and sauce. Veal shank was bought from Italian Pork store in Middletown, that I have the pleasure of having access to. We had some smoked mozzarella as an appetizer.  Damn good stuff

Freezer getting cleared out. I just mixed up 5 pounds of ground for landjaeger jerky and 3.5 pounds for mango habanero jerky will put that in the dehydrated in the morn.
