Lawdwaz
OK guys, what are you getting your wife for Christmas? I won't totally steal your idea but will if I have to. After 23 years of marriage I'm tapped out of winners. Clothes aren't an option, Ipad was last year, doesn't need a camera, jewelry? nahh. Hurry, its getting late! PS....she doesn't hunt and we just got a new dryer & garage door so they are out. Edited December 19, 2014 by Lawdwaz

Elmo
Bought the wife necklace from Tiffany's so it doesn't seem like I'm cheap. The real gift is I took all her favorite photo's of her and our baby and used blurb.com to create a coffee table photo book. Titled it "An Amazing First Year" to congratulate her 1st year of motherhood and wrote some heart felt messages in it. Since it only came out to $55, I figure I add a simply silver necklace (she doesn't like gold, prefers silver or white gold) to make it look like I'm not so cheap. The problem is that the last couple of days she's been bugging me asking "Wouldn't it be a great idea to make a picture book of our baby to give to our parents?" I've been dodging it the last few days. Don't know how much longer I can dodge it.

I was totally out of ideas so I gave her the coat for her B-day and now Im stumped for a x mas gift for her. Im sure I'll be running around all x mas eve day cursing to myself. growalot
I always liked getting things for my hobbies...so that for me meant power tools andhunting stuff...gosh he really is a lucky guy... But he always likes to suprise me with things I love but never asked for...last year...diamond studs...another astrand of Akoya pearls and ear rings...another year wide gold necklace and matching braclet. The gifts were beyond great....... but the idea he knew me well enough to pick out just the right thing was the real gift...oh I also loved the tool and hunting stuff... A woman can always tell when a gift given has the loving thought behind it she really wants....
Jennifer
I'm not a typical wife but I have never been into jewelry, spas, etc. I always really enjoy it when my husband does something like make a simple card or write a little story (I am talking short), etc. Otherwise I also enjoy things that I can use, like things for my hobby or job (art supplies, biology stuff). For him I try to keep within his interests too. Techy stuff, one year I got him a nice keyboard that he plays.

chiefbkt
If you golf, you can get a spa package at Turning Stone Resort and Casino that will allow your wife to be pampered all day while you golf. Plus you get a nice dinner and if you gamble, casino time. I have done this for my wife and she loves it. Doesn't care that I'm out golfing while she is being pampered for hours.
Paula
I would love for my husband to get me a spa weekend. Don't want the relaxation rushed, :-). You could do a couples massage, mani and pedis, she could get her hair did. Then for a romantic dinner. It's a win win for you both!!
