The reports on Fox news are saying weapons were stolen from hunting cabins. There are hundred and thousands of hunting cabins with weapons in them. Hunters can't say what weapons were left at their cabin. Are you getting this……..Ok folks who leaves weapons at their cabins?????? FOX needs to reset and figure out where their priorities lay. Pro gun anti gun. They are tripping over their own feet. This is comical. Only in America……BTW glad they are about to end this search. My Niece lives pretty close to the area.

Our NYS law enforcement has done a great job under very difficult conditions. One down and one to go. Hoping they wrap this up soon.

I'd think that Sweat wouldn't have much energy after all he has been through.  Water? Food? NO CLUE where he is?  Think he is low on ammo?  How much stuff could he be carrying?

Yes, I think the death sentence should be carried out in the woods. There are other ways of piecing together who helped and what the escape process was. Chances are pretty good he wouldn't give up those details anyway even if he were taken alive. So, these creeps have cost us enough money. Put him down and save any further expenses.

Matt (according to news reports today) never fired a shot at the popo yesterday in the "gunfight" that ended in his demise.  Apparently he didn't drop the gun when instructed, probably had grubs and crap in his ears and couldn't hear the command.......................................

Greene, I think a better approximation to board and maintain a prisoner at that level is about $100,000.00 yr. I agree put Sweat down like he should of been vs plea dealing to life in prison.

Wouldn't of had this problem if lifers were exicuted to begin with, approx 60,000 a year to keep in jail, and a million a day to look for them when they escape, immediate death by firing squad 325.00 (60 bucks per person an hr (5 on a squad )plus cost of bullets. Firing squad is the way to go. Don't have to worry about finding a supply of drugs and bullets work first time every time. If they need shooters,sign me up!
