Although I've hunted that high up, I never felt very comfortable doing so. Mostly stay on the ground these days.

Thats not that high, 4 section ladder stick, somewhere between 16 and 20 feet Id guess.

I've got (5) 4ft sections up to this stand.

It ends 3ft short of the platform where I shimmy around to the branches and a few screw in steps for handles so this one is right around 23'.

I don't normally go that high, but I always feel safer with a few branches below me when I do get up there.

 

I just pulled the bottom strap on the first set of sticks because the black strap around the trunk didn't go well with the rest of the pic.

She's all secured again and ready to go.
