Went out too early for the evening sit. Being cold and wet meant I couldn't stand to be out there past 6pm, which is the beginning of that magic half hour when our woods seem to come alive most evenings. Tomorrow is another day.

Had a spike at 5 yards lol

Sat 6-2 didn't see a single deer. Saw a nice black yote about 200yds out. Maybe tomorrow I will see a deer. Think this wind isn't helping.

My platform I was sitting in is only 12 feet up, I could see and hear the spike chewing whatever he was eating. That was the closest I've had a deer and not shot. Got the heart going still.

Sittin on a rub line just inside the woods with about 5 scrapes within a couple hundred yds ... Oaks are raining !!!!! Had a fork horn and a small 6 feeding on acorns n even sparred a little for me ...

Bust a nice sized doe on the way in..,haven't seen anything since. Not even a squirrel. Forgot my seat cushion so this cold rock is really digging into my a&@. Still great to be out finally!
