My channel is calling for 60% rain first 4 days....What does yours look like?

Was 41 when I woke up today. FINALLY a break in this ridiculous summer. Weather.com is showing rain all weekend, but this far out I am sure that can change.

Mine says friday - sunday rain with temps in the mid 60's

not that i have much faith in the forecast this far out.

They can't predict  yesterday's weather correctly

I will hold off until at least Thursday for a somewhat accurate prediction.

I'll be lucky to get out once or twice during the first couple of weeks. Grandson's baseball games, a wedding and other commitments make early October hit or miss for hunting. Just as well, I won't tip my hand too early. And have lots of time planned later in the month and a good chunk of November!

We're getting ready for snow. We have had snow storms by mid October, past years.

The good thing is the leaves are still on the trees ,even if it rains ,we still get a slight umbrella.

Many were concerned about it being too warm early in October . It was 46 degrees when we left for church yesterday . It's 57 degrees now .

wow growalot,you are set up for whatever mother nature throws at you. That's awesome. Here in 4F 50% chance of rain,I will stay close to home and just sit for a few hours in the a.m. and then again in the afternoon. No need for all day sits yet. Saving that for early november...

Saturday - Scattered showers, 60% chance of rain.  H - 62 / L - 48

Sunday - Scattered showers, 60% chance of rain.  H - 62 / L - 45

Monday - Scattered showers, 30% chance of rain (starting in the late morning; they might be moving after two days of rain).  H - 63 / L - 40

A light rain won't be a bad thing for opener - quiet entry. Even better is the easterly wind which is very rare this time of year. It gives us a shot opening day to take advantage of some patterns that MIGHT just hold on long enough.
