I am a big hash fan..I like it out of the can, but The Mermaid won't touch it,, She  DOES however, like the made from scratch hash that I do when I happen to have some leftover corned or roast beef..

Whenever I think of hash, I remember eating with my buddies at a greasy spoon diner near the boat launch in Niantic, Conn. on a fishing trip..

The proprietor was a cranky old Greek dude, but his homemade hash was to die for  !!...

LOVE Stretch bread!  Patisserie in Skaneatelas is the great, but rumor has it that their recipe was “stolen” from Pastabilities restaurant.  It’s a big local brouhaha!

Although I’d rather be eating venison heart + eggs... you gotta eat what you have.  Loaded egg taco.

No hunting this morn. Going to take down the groundblind in a bit.  We don't gun hunt there, too close to things so gonna take it down before the big winds today.

Apple pancakes and smoked venison sausage., Eggs over.   Opening day breakfast.

Was going to hunt but radar has a line of heavy rain on the way. So breakfast it is.  Had to take a pic cause I realized I am having the Dr Suess plate today.  

Hashbrowns with eggs over and ham. Green Tabasco and bionic potato/egg topping. 

And yes it is green eggs and ham.

Had the day off of work as did my wife. Normally she’s out shopping with her sisters but Covid changed that. So I stayed home from hunting and I made a big breakfast for us all. It’s was a well deserved day off and a well deserved breakfast with the family.

Stopped at moms for breakfast, she just moved into a new patio home half a mile from where I hunt. I ate breakfast on the patio since I'm still worried about my exposure with Biz and Sod

Tried something different.   Used a box stuffing in sage flavor and put in cooked crumbled onion and pepper sausage.  Then eggs over.  Kinda like a scrapple.  It was good.  

And Charlie patiently waiting for his egg.....

Asiago cheese and roasted pepper sausage , mushroom and Swiss omelette.  Feels weird to be off and not hunting anymore.  Guess I will wrap presents and prep some food.
