I hunted Yorktown this morning only till 830am. Fresh scrapes, but didn’t see any deer. Missed a small yote. I’m in Putnam now hunting

66 degrees and dying in a t shirt here in 7s. My button buck friend greeted me again on the way in. Ran and stopped to watch me 3 times before he retreated to the posted side. He'll be back. Bring your big brother.

Out now turns out my son wouldn't come down for breakfast because he had a 6 pt laying in the sun 5 yds from stand. He pased and now regrets it, oh well that's hunting. Rode our quads for a lil while and saw two yotes, no gun handy, too bad.sunny warm n breezy hunt till dark good luck all.

In a tree 8N. Light drizzle. This time yesterday I had a very respectable 6 or 7 grunting and frantically searching for does all around me.
This sure beats 70 and sunny! Finally feels like deer season.

Shoulda gave the wind more attention

My one antlered 4 pt came in was not happy with my smell. He still offered a shot but as I passed and he left he blows twice. Then comes all the way back in. Leaves again and blows 7 more times. Little bastard!
