moog5050
Platform done. Blind tomorrow. My truck was so dirty from hauling materials through the fields that after 4 car washes, it’s still a mess.
philoshop
Keep the kids involved! Good for you!! The truck will be self-washing over the next couple of months, anyway. The rainy season is almost here.

Moho81
This was your one chance to prove the sissy truck can get dirty and you didn’t take advantage of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Doewhacker
If you put a big enough swimming pool at the bottom you could do cannon balls to stay cool on those hot early days. Of course the pool would have to be 25 feet deep to off set your large size or there would be a sunami in the woods and no water would be left in the pool. grampy
The area in the background, just screams DEER! One of our best spots on the farm, looks very similar. Just think of the memories you will have, each time you look at the mount of the first BIG buck killed from this spot! Knowing how the stand, came to be. Making memories with your kids, is what it's all about! Good stuff here. How cool would it be to have one or both kids, take their first deer at this spot!!! What did you use for the ladder and hand rail? That looks pretty slick.
moog5050
Blind in. Really like it. Each corner has a tall window for bow and each side has a square one. Camo curtains that side up and down. 6x6 inside from corner to corner. It should be nice to hunt. And some turkey came to visit right in the corner where I put the circle. Recovered the last buck right in that thickstuff in background. Lots of trails there. This corner (transition of creek, fields, heavy thickets, small food plot (with apples) and swamp) gets lots of traffic especially when corn is up and it usually is. I sent some of the bucks we had on Cam. They passed down close trail photo 3 This is a kit from redneck blinds. You buy lumber. Rest of the parts come in kit.
