Traffic sucks. It would take him forever in an Uber
grampy
It really is a shame, when instead of just moving on, or passing through, a bear becomes acclimated to the "good life". Which usually means a short life for the bear.

Could easily have tranquillized it and moved him.

Since the population is so good now they just issue the piece of paper to kill them. NY opened bear across the whole state, I see the next step in bear Reg.'s as removing the southern tier prohibition on shooting a bear from a group or the cub restriction
Nomad
In Roch a few years back, the bear was up a tree, they shot it with a tranquilizer dart . It fell, but they had a net..... the net was worthless and he crashed into the pavement and died . Personally I’d much rather take my chances with a bear in the city ,then the indigenous animals .

Pygmy
The bear is being a PITA, shoot him...No problem...What is the big deal....??... I never shot a bear in my life, although I had the chance legally to do so several times.. None of those bears were being a problem...

Not sure if you are NZ or SZ Bag Limits Bear Resident and Nonresident hunters may take one bear by gun or bow each license year. In the Southern Zone, you may not shoot a cub or a bear that should be known to be a cub, shoot any bear from a group of bears, or shoot or take a bear from its den.
