Cuomo just realized ny tax revenue went down 2.3 billion dollars

Recommended Posts

He has stated that it was the Trump tax cut, that put NY in a tax shortage.  No way could it be all the free stuff he hands over to those not working?  Or no way could it be all the tax paying, working people leaving from upstate, to anywhere else?  He's just setting up another "BIG Tax" increase on the working people of NY. Who are already among the highest taxed in the nation.

He is too ignorant to see that when you give away more to those not contributing to the tax burden. And take more from those that do, eventually the well runs dry.

One step closer to total socialism.  That is the true goal of the left.  To have government control everything. While the masses slave away in the fields, waiting for handouts.

Wonder if he will cut back on his "Free Tuition" program or:

Governor Cuomo has dedicated approximately $13 million to support the more than 11,000 displaced Hurricane Maria victims living in New York. As part of the commitment, an initial investment of $2 million will go to partnering organizations who connect vulnerable Puerto Ricans to needed services such as employment, housing, benefits counseling and health care. Governor Cuomo has also committed up to $11 million dollars in housing and workforce funding for displaced Puerto Ricans: a $1 million program to provide robust case management services to displaced Puerto Ricans, and up to $10 million in job training and placement.

It will be interesting but not pleasant to see how he tap dances around all of it.

This will speed up his process of eliminating the star program which will put a bigger burden on taxpayers without raising taxes.

Methinks you are correct. He's already trying to reduce state aid to towns and villages. That can only be made up by a town and county tax increase.

From Dan Bongino's podcast today: cued to the "king coumo" segment:

I've posted this elsewhere here, but it's important to get the message across. It's not President Trump's fault that New York's taxes are too high, and that the citizens are leaving in droves.

President Trump essentially said when he eliminated the SALT deductions, "Let's level the playing field. Coastal cities should not be subsidized..."

This program helps a lot of people and towns, my self included.

You are forgetting about the gondolas he wants to build as well, the for the state fair, and the one in Albany going across the Hudson.

The #1 reason people are leaving this state is the taxes! There are other reasons, including the dumbest gun control laws ( CA is right there as well, but I'm talking NYS ). It's not the weather, it's not Trump, it's Cuomo himself. It's not hard to see what he wants to turn this state into.

Our spectacular hunting and fishing and superb climate help compensate for the dysfunctional politics.   Without that, hunting pressure on public land,  crowding at boat launches, and traffic would be much worse. Keep up the good work Andy.
