Got my bear back

850 for shoulder with open mouth,2500 for full, is what I paid for mine, rug was 750.

Same as Greg when I got mine mounted in 2010 shoulder was $850 full body $2500 and a rug was $800

Kpkot... First off, it was a pleasure to meet you at the gathering.  The sheds were a gift from a good friend in NC,  I wanted to incorporate them into this mount somehow and that's what I came up with.

My taxi gave me a break on this bear.. he has done many bears before but never a ny bear.  You are in the ballpark with the pricing your taxi gave you.. there is a lot of work that goes into a preditor mount.

Red.. I was in a food coma when I got to the goat... I would have liked to talk more with you.  My taxi said he lost money on my mount and he will re evaluate next seasons pricing... You are right in line though.. take care and I'm sure you are going to have a great upcoming season!

Hey Biz..   We neglected to weigh it.  It was not a monster though!  A hanging scale is on the list of must haves for the shop this year.

awesome mount man. I hope to be fortunate enough to have an opportunity some day. I think I might do a rug instead, but that mount is bad ass. I don't recall the details, was he NY? Weight?

looks great. i think the bear shoulder mounts with front legs are a nice choice for a mount. i'm still dumbfounded that i have not seen a black bear in the wild yet here in NY. they're all over too!
