I searched for awhile to find one that has on/ off vs high med low strobe then off. Finally found one! It also has a dimmer switch and zoom/flood. Got it at Lowe's but they no longer sell. Doesn't have red/green but I highly recommend. Coast 20397

For 20 years I’ve used a Surefire flashlight with a flip red lens. Became part of me   I’ll hold it in my mouth when need hands free. Bought a cheap white headlamp at Valu last year but want non white options. These are a couple I’m looking at.

I've got 2 of the Cabela's Alaskan guide. They're fantastico! The 40 dollar ones

In the past I looked for a cheap red light headlamp and the best I could find was one that's meant for behind a bicycle seat. Still haven't figured out how to attach it to an elastic strap to go around my head. For flashlights, I prefer to get it straight from the source (China) via Ebay or aliexpress, than pay retail. You don't need a lot of lumens, just enough to see where you're walking.

This one is interesting for $9. it has two buttons, one to control the red light, other for white light. Can even do red and white light at the same time. I also like that it is regular batteries instead of rechargeable.I might try this one out. (You might say I have a flashlight fetish, if you ever saw my collection.)

Just curious what headlamp you guys are using . I need a new one this year ,I'd like to get one that does white, green and red .

i have this (or at least some generation of it). It comes with a cap clip and the straps. It's a little heavy but gives you the option for green and red lenses and 2 brightness settings. The high setting is plenty bright and it's good on batteries. I typically run the green lens on low.

I think mine is Princeton Tec . Seems fine , always have a headlamp and handlight  on me, but seldom ever use one to, walk in and out , although if there were other hunters around me I would .

How are some of you guys losing/leaving stuff in the woods? carry-in / carry-out, i've never forgot anything. everything goes in bookbag or pockets

well arent you just something!

I left my bow in the woods overnight once in a spot I had walked in to randomly with my climber. The next morning I went in super early to where I thought I may have been and as soon as it got light it was about five yards from me lol. Theres an epic "Things youve found in the woods" thread on AT, some really cool stuff

You plan on Yote hunting at night.  Bite the bullet and buy the wicked lights package.   The headlamp has all three colors, can be dimmed and focused, and the white is perfect for tracking.

I planned on buying their gun light , it has all 3 colors ,intensity adjustment and focus.
