Black Face Cur dogs

One of my dad's buddies had one, it was a fantastic squirrel dog. I'm not sure of temperament, I only went out with it a couple of times, and it was strictly a hunting dog.

My son and I go bear hunting in Maine every year and the outfitter that we hunt with uses them to hunt coyotes in the winter. The attached photo is from one of his hunts.       valoroutdoors.com

There was a time I really wanted one , but they need several hours a day of exercise at this point of my life that’s a no go .

Frankly Im waiting for one more thing to go wrong with our current dog, he’s stopping us from travel and wintering in FLA . Then it’s no more dogs for us . But BMC are great dogs from what I’ve read .

It'a a go Oakley comes home this saturday. He is unusual cause he is all white pink nose and eyes!

They told me in the bloodlines there is white gene. Every other litter they get a few white.

Good looking pup! Looks like there might be some pit in his line. You are now an evil dog owner. Better lock up the wife and kids lol. 

Srly, looking forward to updates on the new member of the fam. I will be looking soon myself. I have heard many good things about this breed.

Nice looking pup.  Ive been wanting one of these for awhile.  Wife says no more dogs or cats until the ones we have are gone.   I hear they are trainable to hunt multiple types of game.  Is he going to be a house dog or hunting partner as well?

I hope both. Would love to train him to track wounded deer. Right now I need a buddy in the house!

Congratulations! Are you planning to hunt with them? 

I was looking at getting one some day down the road, but just a little too much dog for what I need (squirrel hunting). There is a great group out there if you do Facebook.
