Houston we have a problem

Cucumbers have been in for a week or so but all of a sudden they are starting to look like this.
My first guess is I overdid it with lime.
Second guess - too much water.
Third guess.......

Whats the prize criteria? I've got a little over 100 acres in. 80-90 more acres to go.

Your cucumber looks way different than mine. One of mine looks good, the other doesn’t.

Unrelated, I never took 1 of the dead-ish tomato plants out when I get the free 2 new ones, and I think it’s coming back a little?

Are those tomatoe leaves wilted maybe it's got the blight . Its hard to tell from pic.

It was dead so I got 2 free new ones. But it’s coming back it appears. Rather than dig it out, I left it in.

It’s not? What is it then? The better one keeps getting more leaves.

Late planting, but they’re in...little tight, but we will see how it pans out, worse comes to worse, I can add on to the garden next spring.  All part of learning.  Supersonic tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, string beans.

8x12...should have gone 16.  Better than nothing, keeping positive for once.

Same. I felt like I had sooo much room until I read about the spacing and my 6x16ft filled up quick. I did, however, purposely leave myself another 16ft. For potentially next year. If things even go decent this heat, I could see myself doing 6x32ft in 2021

I originally was considering 8x8 lol.  I said eh we’ll get two 12 footers for the length, i always like to have more, than less...well I should have gone 16, even 24.  I think next year add 8x8 to it, easy, and cheap.  You might as well go 6x32 even if you need to give veggies away...not a bad thing.

Thanks! Since this winter was so mild, I must be thinking its later than the normal.  We had a big garden as a kid, that i helped with, but I just cannot remember the specifics.

Twenty seven plants in the ground. Assorted peppers and two different eggplants so far. I have about forty peppers left and 15 watermelon. (All started from seed)

My other garden has lettuce started indoors that's doing great but carrots, parsnips and spinach haven't germinated at all.

Survived bad T Storms last night. Looking better each day.

How do you know when to pick basil? Not pictured but they are getting big

Just pluck off a few leaves whenever you need some.  Pinch off any flowers forming at the top too, encourages leaf growth.
