Here is a recipe for Chicken Feet Stew:

CHICKEN FEET STEW

1 pkg. chicken feet, cleaned

2 chicken bouillon cubes

Black pepper to taste

2 white potatoes, cut up

1 tomato, fresh, cut up

1 onion, sliced

1 tbsp. garlic powder

Salt to taste

1/2 c. oil

Flour

5 c. water

Dust with flour and brown chicken feet in 1/2 cup oil. Add chicken bouillon cubes, onion, garlic, and pepper in large pot. Add water and cook until tender in 5 cups water. Add potatoes and tomato; simmer until done.

Don't knock it till you try it. Very tasty!

Here is Jamaican Recipe for Chicken Foot Soup my neighbor makes it just like this, very nice a little spicy.

Chicken Foot Soup

2 lbs chicken foot

1 lbs yam

1 lbs pumpkin

1/2 green breadfruit (optional)

1 lbs dasheen (optional)

1 cho cho chopped small

2 med. carrot chopped

1 stalk scallion

2 sprigs thyme

1 hot pepper

salt

Cooking Directions

1. Clean chicken foot, put in large pot being to boiling

2. Add cho cho, carrots and pumpkin

3. Cook for 30 min and add water if needed

4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer another 30 min

As a kid growing up I also use to eat chicken feet, gizzrads, etc...what ever Granma put in the soup it was all good!!!

Heres one for ya...Good ole chicken anus.....yak...yakkk

Ingredients:

300g chicken tail/butt, washed & cleaned

2 chicken quarters, cut into 2 pieces each

1 cup soy sauce

3 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp calamansi juice [calamondin]

4 cloves garlic, minced

dipping sauce:

1 onion, chopped

½ cup vinegar

salt and sugar to taste

bird’s eye chili, optional

Directions:

  • Marinate chicken pieces and chicken butt/tail in the mixture of Soy Sauce, sugar, minced garlic and a little salt.
  • Let it stand for at least a day in the refrigerator.
  • Use barbecue sticks to skewer the chicken pieces.
  • Mix leftover marinade with 2 tbsp banana ketchup.This will be used for basting.
  • Grill on live charcoal.
  • Baste chicken with marinade-ketchup mixture while grilling.
  • Serve with rice and dipping sauce.

My Grandma used to say that her favorite part of the chicken was the part that went over the fence last...

I've eaten some pretty exotic things, but I had chickens all my life, and when I think thier feet, I just think of all the chickens**t that was GROUND into them..In between all of those scales and wrinkles..

I don't care how well you wash them. NO THANKS... :fie: ....

I like turkey and chicken Pope's nose. My wife says shje never saw someone eat a chicken like me. I carve it, then pick the frame. If I'm still hungry I'll eat a thigh.
