Going for my first COVID-19 test

I work nights went to bed this morning when I got up this afternoon my face felt hot. I took my temp. and it was 100.4 I have taken it 4 times in the last 2hr and the lowest its been is 99.3 and the highest is 101. I also can’t taste anything and have a small head ache.

That sounds like you have it.   Sorry Larry.   Ran through our house this week after my son tested positive.  Stay hydrated and use ibuprofen for aches.   Luckily the symptoms have been mild for all 4 of us so far.

This past weekend I felt tired and achy. Thought it was just from working long hours and wearing myself down. Then I got a fever of 102. Went for a test because I wanted to know just how serious I should take it. The test itself is terrible, but it's over quick. Fortunately mine came back negative. Good luck Larry.

One thing to note, many doctors strongly advise again ibuprofen and say only tylenol should be used when you have COVID. But, of course, others say it's fine. So who knows.

Feel better soon.  If it is covid my wifes friend was diagnosed in September and just recently got her sense of taste back.

The test is a nothing burger in my opinion ,

slightly uncomfortable for a few seconds ...

Not being able to taste anything is kind-of a blessing seeing my wife is not a very good cook.

I loved the test so much I asked if they could do it one more time. Just love having a 3-foot stick shoved up my nose. I should know by Monday. Right now, it’s not to bad a cough, fever, no taste, slight head ache.

Just got the results from my test and I have tested positive COVID-19. The company I work for has me off for the next 14 days.

I don’t feel too bad can’t taste or smell and I’m tired and my head hurts with a fever that comes and go’s

I had to take a gonorrhea example by a bald headed, tattoo'ed, man hating lesbian.  Having a the q-tip stuck up my nose would be a breeze.
