My point is the people with weak immune systems were ravaged by the original surge, the same people who even when "fully vaccinated" still get hammered by it.

The fact is that the Covid Mandates have put more of a strain on healthcare workers and hospitals, than Covid outbreaks.

How long can we expect nurses + doctors to pull double shifts before more serious burnout occurs ?

"Green" nurses are being put in positions that they weren't trained for, causing more friction in the workplace and a lot of them leave for less pressured work environments. 

God forbid a covid outbreak occurs with the medical and support staff, where their mandated to quarantine.

How many new yorkers are being put in jeopardy because of the no elective surgery mandate from Gov H, that was implemented before even one case of the omicron variant was detected in the US ?  

It was bad enough with them pushing around the unvaccinated under their control, but now their flexing their political muscle and starting to push private business + the Vaccinated around too.

Even considering a Vaccine mandate for remote workers if covid cases start to rise ?

We can only hope the newest elected officials will think about implementing these mandates before this state is put into more financial need of Gov't bailouts.

Maybe I remember wrong, but I thought it was as if May 1st the CDC decided to no longer count “breakthrough” cases as separate cases and all Covid cases would be counted the same.
