Out here in 5h. Fresh scrape at 11 yards. Two years ago to the day I shot a nice 6 point out of this tree. Trying with the recurve now.

How well does the recurve work with the front bar on the Summit?

Definitely have to lean a bit. Glad I got in the stand early so I could practice getting in position.

I saw squat. Was nice to spend 5 hours up a tree though. Back at it tomorrow all day, maybe a break for lunch if I want to change spots.

The wind forecast has changed 3 times in 3 days in mine, I've got backup plans though.

Ill x3 this.low 40's is much better then the last couple years in the 60's at night and mosquitoes during the day in the mid to high 70's!!!!!im ready!!!

Anyone out? Truck was saying it was in the upper 30s. Saw 36 at one point.

One percent chance of rain the weatherman says, well I beg to differ. Just a sprinkle so I'm going to stick it out unless it comes down harder.

I did see two does in the morning then took a break between 10-2.
