Shoot the winter league they said, it will be fun they said...second week in a row with gusts over 50mph and heavy snow to boot. It didn’t seem to bother the@sodfather though he shot like a boss! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro11 points

Jump the gun a bit. Picked up a new bow before getting rid of some. Primary hunting bow had been thru a lot and killed deer on both public and private land. Still its 8 yrs old and time for an upgrade. Plus no need to shoot a 70lb speed bow. First impressions and draw even on performance setting of this blacked out 60lb Bowtech Realm X is good. We'll see. Trad bows were pulling me in but I'm back to the dark side for now. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk5 points

Blueticks are gorgeous! My dogs only bark at what they should or what critter might be in the yard. It's not as bad as people say. Yes my house dog is always looking for the next meal, I think it helps if you don't give in! Here is my house dog Chester, all he cares about is a car ride, any food and staying warm.4 points

Lightly frosted .. ruger loves the snow . Not so much the wind . And has it been windy here. Went to see Aunt doc friday . Got his shots up to date . Having a worm issue .... haven't dealt with that in years . Yuck! My dogs get heart worm medicine and it's good for all peracite. He obviously got it from his mother. He only gained a pound in the week. Cutting his meals to 3 times a day but bumping the quantity.4 points

I have a mutt . I got from north shore animal rescue . He is great with finding pheasant but refuses to pick them Up. Any dog I think can be trained . My mini schnauzer found birds and ran rabbits . I would go with a lab any day but it is your choice you have to pick your puppy .4 points

Who said it would stop me ?? Actually I think it's kind of cool... Reminds me of some of those Woodhull girls I used to hang around with... I remember the time Velma Fernbender asked me if I'd like to SHAVE her.... I'll never forget sitting in that old cast iron scalding tub out in her Daddy's hog barn, shaving her back....4 points

This is a bird I shot and had mounted in 1988 or '89....Mounted by Bernie Seitz, well known locally for his bird taxidermy. This is a freeze dried/hand painted head that CAME with the turkey, not a plastic head with no soul...... It's been in the Buffalo Gun Center for 22 years and since they are closing, I brought it home yesterday. My wife said NFW.......she lived with it here for ten years prior and said "no mas". $350 in Amherst but I'd travel a bit in the right situation..........thanks.3 points

I am out with the shotgun since morning. Took a walk at lunch and saw 6 does. I am just too slow, they ran past at about 50 yds and stood at around 83. Too far for me. Walk back to the stand and fresh tracks within 50 yds. Still have a few hours. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk3 points

I have a 10 year old standard poodle. Great family dog, good at retrieving, but very skittish. If she hears a noise she will run you over to get back to the truck or car. Also very vocal about her wants. Typical traits of the breed. The worst part about taking her out is grooming her afterwards, everything sticks in her hair. She is also black so very hard to check for ticks. We just got a chocolate labradoodle and so far retrieves well, very curious about everything she sees and hears. Doesn't run away from loud noises which is good.Likes to bring back limbs from trees 3 times her size. And releases when told to. Loves to play ball. My old poodle has taught her to watch out the window for squirrels in the back yard. Took less than 2 weeks to train to ring a bell to go potty outside. Already scatters the birds at the bird feeder out back. We will see where she goes with hunting, time will tell.3 points

I brought on suitcase empty that I put 39.5 pounds of frozen in to checked baggage. The cargo hold is not heated so even better. I bought a nice soft side cooler to put another 25 pounds in as my carry on. All went well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

It’s actually their whole year area...”small” pocket of woods in 3S sandwiched between a parkway and a residential area. No hunting “allowed” clearly doesn’t mean “no hunting” as I have found plenty of hang on stands, headless carcasses and gut piles without a carcass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Nephew was late this morning so we started setting up as most of the birds had flocked. 30 minutes make a huge difference. We managed 18 crows. Unfortunately the first group all all came to the call at once. It was fun to see and hear but horrible for hunting. Went for pigeons before the snow hit snd killed a dozen.2 points

I was in a stand. Saw a total of 7. She was down by 8am. She stepped out at 45 yds. She was with 2 others. They actually came back to her after she went down. Then I looked over my left shoulder and another four were hung up about 50 until they decided to leave. I was home and she was hanging by 915. About to eat some backstrap. Tomorrow is sausage and jerky time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

I’m pretty sure this is the 11 point who avoided me this season (I know... it doesn’t look like an 11 in these pics). And an 8 that he’s hanging with. I got pictures of him in Sept-Oct and saw him twice during bow but he was out of range. He disappeared during the regular season... Good to know he’s out there still. I’ll find the old pics of him and post them too.1 point

Best part , it’s orange. How many times has one set their knife down in the leaves etc. Then precede to look for it because it blends in so well ? This is what I hear, has never happened to me1 point

Yeah the Store bought rad relocate kits they bend sheet metal for the mount. If you notice on the aftermarket made ones the sheet metal is bent wide enough to bolt directly to the rack bars . I don’t like the big boxy look of them , my goal was to keep it compact and mine actually has more of a set back / rake than aftermarket one. So I used the expanded steel screen for max air flow because of the rake. If I do get mud in my radiator it will be way easier to clean out on the rack . And actually the stock location of the radiator was more exposed to damage than where I have it now . Plus the store bought kit for my kodiak is $180 , I have $70 in mine. You cant see it but my rad is 1/2 inch back away from the screen ( notice in the second photo my 1/2 inch aluminum spacers on the mounting bolts between the rad and my frame. My intake tube runs under up the front of my seat and it’s higher than my crotch. And my intake and exhaust ports on my cvt are just as high. ( actually in the last photo you can see the intake of my cvt in the lower left ) I tend to stay out of mud/ water holes deeper than the top of my fenders. And if I do get into a deep one i just pull the front up for a water wheelie and that keeps everything out of the water. My goal was not to build a dedicated mud machine but to improve a few things to make it work better in the mud and still be able to pull logs move tree stands on the lease. Kinda a dual purpose atv. Plus in some states non factory snorkels are illegal .1 point
