Aww cute little guy.
-
Southampton was loaded with bait fish the other day so any area from that location to the point should be good, keep an eye out for the birds and bait fish.
-
Bring your pole and extra gear, the fishing is very good!
-
I want to hunt where you go!

Love Maine, use to go to Sanford and Bauneg Beg Lake sometimes twice a year with family. Love Baxter State park real nice state with lakes all over the place! Loved the moose sightings!

We can all sleep better at night knowing that ..

Good luck with them! Hope to see you with your hands around one later this year! -
Trucks yes, cars, no.

Usually the difference is in the draw cycle and speed, if you have good shoulders its not an issue. I have a MQ1 that is over 10 years old but it would still kill a deer along with most any bow with a 45 lbs draw or better.

Specs? Speed? Draw length, arrow spine, weight, lbs.

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article216876005.html Having a sighting can make your town relevant again! Tourism is a big thing these days, simply get a suit that looks close enough, make a video and bam you have a few hundred more people coming into your town every week. Boost to the local economy. This is why urban area's want big foot so people come and purchase things, first its just gas, groceries etc. then when it really takes off they can start with big foot t-shirts, mugs, bumper stickers and the list goes on... I am much more scared of a mother protecting her cub or calf(Moose) vs big foot.

Not sure I would use a 400 spine as you are right on the border. I shoot 65lbs at 28.5 inches and I am just within the border of using 400 spines. A good bow tech can set up the bow in a vise and paper tune the bow for a perfect shot, then you have to perfect your form. Typically this is how I start off and the paper tune only requires minor adjustments. Watch your bow hand, make sure you are not gripping the bow, keep it loose so you don't torch it. Possibly try other arrows to see if it make a difference, different weights, I would stick with 340's with that set up. You could also have another shooter with the same draw length and good form try it to see if it is something with your form and not the bow. Good luck and don't get to crazy with this. I found that if the bow shoot straight out to 80 yards the deer don't care if its tune properly. Typically how I tune. After setting up factory specs (If I can't have it tuned in a vice.). I will do a paper tune and get it as close as possible if I can't get it perfect. Then I will set up at 10 yards center shot then out to 60-80 yards and fine tune the center shot, then back to 10 yards. If the bow hits perfect center shot at 5 - 80 yards I am good, then I test broad heads and tune for them, keeping the bow set up for hunting.

Video yourself shooting so you can look at your form, sometimes you will pick something up you should not be doing. Elite bows have great draw cycle but you have to keep on target after the shot. (Follow through.) I would also question the distance you have the paper tune setup. To often people have it to close. Sometimes due to form you might never be able to get a good paper tune.

Do it! In NY we need it, unless you plan on selling it after 10 years. It does help! 13 years in a dealership...

Had one of my buddies tree stand harnesses for the ladder stand cut and he fell really bad. Broken leg in 3 spots. Be careful and make sure you always check your stand when going in the dark, a few shakes at the bottom and slightly up will help verify no one is trying to kill you! Some of these people are real idiots who could care less about harming another person if it saves one animal. 5 years later they will complain to the DEC about why they have not done anything to cure lyme after they get it a few times. It's illegal to harass hunters, if it happens to you record it so you have evidence! Then let the DEC know.

Looks like a good place to set up a mock scrape! Good luck with him.
