Night time, I walk the edges of corn fields / woods with a red head lamp. Amazing how many sets of eyes I see looking back at me. Never tried daytime calling for em. Gonna look at the you tube videos and give it a try this weekend.

Learned to drive a standard on the farm when I was 12-13 years old. Have had numerous vehicles over the years with standard transmissions, and have a Class A CDL with no restrictions (I know people who have taken the road test in a vehicle with an automatic transmission or no air brakes.) Ordered a case of 9 MM from Target Sports on 4/3, it arrived this AM. Still waiting on UPS to either find the last order or pay up for the loss.

I ordered from Target Sports 3/15 shipped on 3/25. Was supposed to be delivered this week, but somehow UPS lost the package (last scan was from Latham NY, never showed it arriving at next stop) , so I've filed a claim. Not sure I believe Target Sport's claim of "Discrete Packaging"

The real question : How many people will learn from this and have more supplies on hand - not to the "prepper" level, but at least enough to hold out a few weeks ?

Grew up boating & canoeing the Finger Lakes and other local waters. Got into Kayak fishing about 10 years ago, and the past 4 have been riding a Hobie Outback. Most of the fishing I do is trolling for salmonid on the Finger Lakes, so the mirage peddle drive was a very good investment. Have also had it out on a few Lake Ontario bays and tribs, as well as the open lake (weather dependent) My dry suit that came back from getting the zipper and neoprene gaskets repaired, so plan on breaking out the yak and hitting water within the next week or so. This is my first time in years night hunting. We used a Q-beam light with a red taillight lens taped to it, if thats an indication how long ago it was... Two things that I've learned with using today's LED lights. 1. If using a head lamp, make sure you turn it off or tilt it way up before looking through the scope. 2. Kill light on scope may not exactly line up zero'ed to your cross hairs. Test and tweek it before going out in the field. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

No other deer showed up. Flat top got up about 9:30 , shook off the snow then wandered off. Small deer and couldn't tell if a doe or button buck, so got a pass.
