We have to help these kids as much as we can. But if we don't draw a line then theses children will come and come and come. It will overwhelm us. We need to take care of these kids and get them back home A.S.A.P. I wonder how Mayor Stephie would feel about these kids being relocated to ……oohhh lets say…..uuuhhhhmmm …...SKANEATLES???????!!! Im sure Steph would be fine with it…LOL!! $$$$$$$$$$

Reminton 700 and Model 7 recall for trigger issues
ants replied to Mr VJP's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
From what I have heard, the problem is that bonding agent (glue) may have gotten into the trigger/safety mechanism. Remington is inspecting those areas and cleaning them if needed. They're not replacing anything. ….Anyone heard different??? -
Shades of grey???? Its a start

Why Do I Need a License to take my grand kids hunting
ants replied to Youngre911's topic in General Hunting
Yeah….and its also a way to keep tract of bad actors..Repeated traffic violations, DWI's etc…..You lose your license & can't drive. No one would want a person who lost his license, or never had one, to be able to teach a kid to drive. Maintaining a license is just a way of proving you're not a mope & capable of giving others at least basic instruction. Im sure Youngre911 is more than capable of teaching his grand kids how to hunt. I would just spend the 22 bucks. -

Rolling Stone is just a liberal fish wrap. They're too full of them selves, or too stupid to realize what a joke this list is. -
A little to the left……..LOL!!! Nice group!

15 years!!!! God Im old -
Over the winter time there was a short lived "reality" show on TV about guys hunting Ginseng. It was as scripted and corny as all of those shows, but the money that stuff was supposedly selling for was nuts… One little shopping bag full would fund a nice vacation….

Why Do I Need a License to take my grand kids hunting
ants replied to Youngre911's topic in General Hunting
I assume that the reason they want you to have a license, is to assure that you have at least some hunting/ firearms experience. If you have a license then you at least have taken the safety course and probably have at least some field time, as apposed to an adult who has no idea what he/she is doing taking a kid out with a gun or bow. Then there is the $$ thing for the state. -
If you're set on used, then the advice given by steve936 is right on. I would add….look at the body. If the plastic fenders are broken or cracked then it was probably ridden hard. If the plastic is faded, the ATV was more than likely stored outside….Not good. The older the previous owner the better…In most cases.

Cool pics….We have tons of them around here again this year.

I think Round up is made to kill everything it comes in contact with. Garden vegetables included. I have been using stuff called Bonide weed beater to kill lawn weeds around my fence. It works well, but creeping charlie is putting up a good fight against it. I would talk to the garden shop people (not the big box stores) and ask what they recommend. I have used Roundup and ended up killing flowers, plants..etc with just a little bit of overspray. Good luck.

Best Hunting Boots
ants replied to NYBuckHunter27's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Mine cracked sooner then that. I got a little more life out of then, using shoe goop, but…..they suck. Lacross is an excellent rubber boot. I have a pair that are at least 15 years old and they are just starting to crack. As far a leather boots go, Im a big fan of Danner (USA). Pricy but will last and last. Danner will even resole and recondition their old boots. Not free but cheaper than buying a new pair. -
Maybe….I don't think someone should have to live with "whatever" follows. There should be some lines that shouldn't be crossed. Death threats being one. I would never just live with death threats because I made my views or opinions, about hunting, public…..Never. Some might though.

Glad Im not alone with that wife thing…..LOL!

Been great around me too. Only a few real hot days, the right amount of rain and mostly sunny days.

Stinks..but unfortunately thats the way it is sometimes…I hate seeing any dead deer. Either on the side of the road after being hit by cars, or in the woods during the season after a hunter shot & just lost the deer. Unfortunately its an all too common part of the game.

Thats not a bad scenario……. Congrats and Good luck
