I run one with 8s in TSS, but i forgot you get pretty close to your birds and dont have a need for that stuff. But they are a fun little gun to tote, they do kick pretty good still being so light and a recoil pad that aint worth much.. but real fun to tote!

Thanks Brian, I been researching these things like crazy for a year now. Sound like solid machines. My buddy is a head mechanic and swears by GM and their engines. We will find out. Its the first gm full size ive ever bought lol

Only At The Public Shooting Range........
LET EM GROW replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Same here, MY best friend .. as we were in our senior year of high school a bunch of us guys went out back and started slinging clays with the hand thrower.. Well as most know, if you dont snap the thrower right it wont sling where you want it too, well my buddy was up to shoot and a clay didnt break out right and sailed basically backwards right over our heads, without skipping a beat he followed the clay with his bead and shot it right over our heads. From that day forward. I only shoot with a select few people. I recently bought a house in August, and the neighbor boy (18-19yrs) goes out and shoots his guns.. no big deal. I told him he could if we weren't out back, and that if the role gets reversed that its ok with them if I shoot occassionally as well. Deal.. But lately i see him waving his shotgun around completely careless, even with people standing right around him and they all seem oblivious that a barrel is pointed at their face. Monday night he had the gun over his shoulder barrel parrelel with the ground pointing straight backwards, where his gf was walking directly behind him not 10 ft away.. Im at the point a discussion will be had with his parents(whom i only met once so far, when i had to retrieve the 2 trail cams their son stole from me). Not sure how the convo will go but its going to be had soon... my families safety comes first.. -
We use Crabb .. Theyve been charging us around $2 a gallon. We are getting filled again today or tomorrow. So I will see if the price has gone up at all. We have only been with them since November Since the previous owner used them.

Anyone have Polaris sportsman 570?
LET EM GROW replied to mowin's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
I just dont think theyre built as strong, I could be wrong with todays technology. Just seems a solid rear axle lasts much longer, less maintenance and is stronger. Again I could be wrong. My axles are bone stock, bearings and all, and im at 9k miles on them.. Worse case i can handle a suspension lock if need be, I dont skid giant timber like I used to since we no longer are burning wood. But even then, if these axles are going to be Independent id spend a tad more and get the rincon with a bigger engine. -

The sportsman models around the 2000 era were good machines but thats all I can vouge for.. the other machines were junk, especially years prior. As for today any money I put towards an atv, it is strictly on Honda, maybe a yamaha or 3rd best suzuki. They are well built work horses. Ive run Honda and Yamaha since I was a kid.. MY 98 Foreman 450 has just over 9k miles on it.. All ive ever done is change the carb, volt regulator, an ignition (my fault), batteries and tires, and the occasional oil change.. The thing is an animal! I looked at new foremans at arkport cycles recently and was REALLY REALLY let down to see they all had IRS .. I dont want an IRS in a work machine.. Maybe and hopefully they still make new models with solid straight rear axles. If not ill just buy used machines.. -

Idk how different they are, but the 570 in a sxs is worthless. Unless your on nothing but flat ground. Id never spend the money for a 570 in these newer machines. Im not a polaris fan after owning several over the years. In your case I hope the sportsman 570 is far better combo than the 570 Ranger -
Hope he can can recover fully and safely sir, sorry to hear of this.

I dont think he cut them out, But they were Developed enough, that her stomach was moving all over the place for about 20 minutes afterward... Kinda felt bad..

Some uptick in Coyote Fur prices
LET EM GROW replied to airedale's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
I heard prices are getting good in other states, but also saw some receipts from NY fur sellers this year that show garbage prices here still. -
Very rarely do I use decoys anymore, I just try to be where they like to be as much as possible. If i were to use decoys, I make a small flock with them.. like on rainy days or something..

If its warm out, I usually run Job smart batteries from TSC. If not those, Ill run Rayovac or the amazon batteries. Lithiums in my cell cam or a cam in and around a sanctuary..
