  1. Hey Biz, how bout doing a Yankees logo next time????..................grin
  2. Nice addition to the family, and new hunting partner!!! He looks like a winner, all bright eyed and bushy tailed!
  3. Just found this thread. I've ridden in this beauty, and can honestly say it is one sweet ride!!! Wish I had the extra scratch, or I'd be taking a trip out to moogs! I know the way!!!
  4. 0 days for me this year, as a medical issue kept me on the sidelines. But getting stronger each day now.
  5. Bow.....shortest.... one foot from the tip of the broadhead, from the ground. Longest, 37 yards. Gun......shortest....five feet, again from the ground. Longest, 135 yards with an Ithaca Deerslayer 2, with two and three quarter inch Remington Copper Solids. In the few years I've been hunting with a rifle, longest shot was last years buck at 60 yards.
  6. Pic's or it didn't happen!!!! I'd pay to see the video.....
  7. Hope she had the time of her life! You and your wife, have every reason to be so proud of her!

    Beautiful buck and mount!!!
  9. Good luck to the team zeek! That's a lot of games and innings on those young arms in a short time. Always a balance of advancing with good pitching, and saving a couple goods arms, should you get to the championship game. Can never have enough pitching at this level. Teams with three or four good pitchers, and one or two lights out kids, usually do very well in the tournaments.
  10. I look forward to hunting with you again Brian!
  11. Hey,,,,,whatever it is, it works well for you!!!!
  12. I get it. I practiced with the slider locked on my HHA, out to 40 yards just so I knew how much to hold over for different ranges. Kinda does defeat the the reason for a sliding sight. But after being busted trying to adjust for yardage, a couple times when decent bucks just popped out. (hunting from the ground mostly) I just started using the one pin. My new to me Obsession bow, has the three fixed pins sight, and I kinda like that better, as it will take away a lot of the guessing during the moment of truth. As long as I know how far away the deer is. But for 3D you have all the time needed to adjust the slider to the desired range for an accurate shot. So that works perfect too. Best of both worlds! Pretty smart thinking Jeremy!
  13. Telling a story through song. Harry Chapin was a master at that. Another great one. Duane Allman was the reason I bought my first guitar, way back when.
  14. Thank you! Makes perfect sense. I knew there was a logical answer, that my brain couldn't compute. Again......nice work!
  15. Wow! Awesome machine work Jeremy! Looks sweet. But I'm not too bright sometimes so I'll ask the question. Why do you need multiple pins on a sliding sight like an HHA? Mine has a single pin that I slide to the desired range.
  16. Way to go my friend! Got some prime filets there!! Nice way to spend your Birthday too!!
  17. I'm assuming the 'Texas Heart Shot' you made with a rifle a couple years ago, would be acceptable too? No mess at all right? What was that made with, an 06?? Seems like a smaller hole would be preferable for that shot???
  18. Happy Birthday Rob! Hope you are on the water today!!
  19. A small claims court may at least get you some answers. With only a little money put out for a filing fee. Something just doesn't seem right about this. I know I'd be upset too, if the same circumstances fell my way. Never heard of a sportsman's club gun raffle that turned out like this.
  20. Thanks so much to each and every one of you for all the well wishes!!!! It means more to me than you know! I've been absent from here for a few days with a health issue. But I'll be fine! I'm in good hands.
