  1. I have a climber that is yours if you want to pick it up and try it. Barely used. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. Congrats. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. Archaeopteryx. I know you all are better woodsmen and women than me, but I am pretty confident. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  4. Always alone. This year my youngest got his license. I will take him for a few hunts this year, probably for squirrel more than anything else. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  5. I tried to help a clueless boater dock his new 33 foot cruiser in one of the transient slips this afternoon. He threw me a stern line and I tried to walk his boat back into the slip. I couldn't believe how weak I was trying to pull his boat until I realized he still had his boat in gear idling forward. Ughh. Almost ended up in the drink before the googin realized his mistake. I heard later that he has nearly cut another boat in half running the boat on autopilot through fishing grounds. I am starting to think mandatory classes might be a good idea. 6. I agree with you totally. Unfortunately, I think there are more careless people out there today. I had a 30 foot sport fisher come into the harbor last weekend, nearly run me down from behind in a no wake zone and force a zodiac to make evasive moves in front of him to avoid a collision. Everyone should take the course as good practice, but I hate more laws mandating it. Sadly, the more idiots out on the water the easier it is for pols to justify the need for the law. 7. Interesting read and contrary to the results I would have expected. Just remember though that 72.4% of statistics are made up. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. I hear you. I spent the better part of Saturday changing the alternator belt on one of the engines on my father's boat. I remain convinced that they hung the engines from the air and built the boat around it. Always remember the fun you have had / are going to have on it when crap like this happens. As I crawled out of the engine compartment, covered in grease and muck, he looked at me and said one day this will be yours. I told him not to do me any favors. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. Enjoy it. Rumor in the neighborhood is they are being bought by Anheuser Busch or whomever owns them. No clue if it's true or what it means for them, but drink it while you got it. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Venison Thai Chili Basil over basmati with green onion and fresh bell pepper from garden. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. Agree to disagree and I am a Yankee fan. This franchise has never been about the regular season, it's about banners. If they don't make a world series this year, it's the first time since the 1910s that they haven't done that. If they don't win a world series this year, it's the first time since the '80s. Cashman has been GM since 97. He gets no credit for the late 90s since Michael ostensibly assembled that talent. He won one world series with a team he assembled. He's great at putting together regular season teams that bludgeon you to death but one world series in 20 years ain't cutting it. He had no problem holding Girardi accountable, but no one takes him to task. I honestly hope I am wrong and you are right but I don't see how this staff does anything in the playoffs. 12. Cashman is a joke and the most overrated GM in sports. Not a single deal done. GM of the worst era in the history of the Yankees. Right now this team would look to be lucky to win a playoff series. The Boss is rolling over in his grave. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  13. I don't disagree that the chances are thin, but we have to do something. I'd be more than happy to give up gleyber and andujar for a top of the line ace. You'd have to figure packaging those two together would get something legit in return. At the rate we are going the bullpen will be on fumes come playoffs and our starting pitching sucks. 14. I love the character on the front tines. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. I have a sinking suspicion that stroman is this year's version of Denny Nagle, Esteban Loiza, Sonny Gray or J Happ. An upgrade potentially but not a difference maker. As good as cashman may be assembling a batting order, he is awful on the mound (is Javier Vasquez still pitching). We would have to beat Verlander potentially three times in a game set. No one to match as an ace on this team and I don't see the names they are talking about making a diff. Torres and Andujar for Scherzer. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. I know if they have the bow hunting privilege they can apply for a dmp. I am not sure if they do not have a bowhunting privilege. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. At least he's got the sense to tell his mother the mackerel aroma is from his job. Lord knows what it actually is. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. Great job for a young kid. Up early, break your back, come home smelling like mackerel with tuna steaks as a tip. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  19. Montauk Marine basin. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. I hit the beach with wife and younger son to cool off. My older son helped a boat weigh this in at his job at the local marina. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. My mother even ate it. Didn't have the heart to tell her it was Bambi's dad. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Venison Carnitas, carmelized onion, fresh made salsa, avocado on toasted tortilla. Killed it. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. Throwing two cents in to the mix based on what I saw my in-laws go through with my niece. She was a hugely competitive soccer player in MD. Played up in age throughout her life, received invites to top University soccer camps, etc. When they got to the college process, it was pretty clear that the real scholarship money was being given to a tier up in player, like the kids that were playing on or competing to get into the national teams. There just isn't that much money on the table to go around for the non revenue generating sports. They learned that the better angle was to use soccer as a means to get her into a school she might not be able to get into otherwise. No different than a kid who is a good trumpet player, etc. rather than a means to get paid for it. She is getting a couple bucks for school and is happy at a place that she needed soccer to get into, but the parents are still footing the bill for a healthy portion. Just one person's experience so take it for what it's worth. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  24. I have that problem. I close my right eye to get lined up through the sight then open it to get better field perception. I can't start with both eyes open. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  25. Fried chicken, waffles and deep fried pickles. Was a staple until I had the stent put in. Still miss it. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
