not the biggest deer but meat in the freezer he came back too many times and didnt go 30yds walked away like nothing happened and dropped ...

P.S. Those gloves just brought back some memories i thought i was rid of.

How come there is a pic of you and not your uncle with the buck.. when I post a pic of a deer I didn't kill it would be a pic with the hunter that got the deer... do you have a pic of him with the buck in the field? So, was the pressure off you with the first buck or your uncle... I can see someone started punching "tags".. but only a tag on the second buck. By the looks of the backgrounds of the pics... it looks like your properties look almost exactly alike. Same clover in the field and everything.

Yea the deer were both butchered at our house I have property in Middlesex an hour away I never gut alone I'm not good at it as in why I dressed good practice and mine I did alone hence no gloves in pic and the pressure off was because we both have tag soup usually in this household

Skeptical. But as we cannot not determine the truth of the matter, maybe we had best give him the benefit of the doubt. He did not claim the first really, though I did assume it was his as he posted it on here with himself in the photo. The authorities are the only ones who could find out the truth. If the first was his, he may have used his tag on it. The second he claimed publicly here and would not have a tag for... Anyhow the point is clear that forum members are anti illegal hunting, I will personally give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think this should be shown to the authority and let them look into further. If its the truth than there is nothing to worry about. But they have there ways of figuring out th truth. Just doen't seem right the whole story. I would never stand there and take credit in a photo. Just doesn't seem right.

I woke up one morning and look out my front window only  to find that my 3D deer target was in pieces all over the front lawn!       New to the forum, already missing the deer season and have curiosity to quell. This was a great non-typical I was chasing all season in a bow-only area of Ithaca. Anyone know or hear of a non-typical of this caliber being killed? I'll be out scouting for him aggressively soon enough. Thanks!

      Hello folks. I'm a novice hunter from almost Central NY. I live amongst the cow fields about 20 minutes south of the ADK park. I'm here hoping that I can learn from those who know more than I do. That's probably most of you. LOL. This is my second season and so far I still have all of my tags. I have a rifle but I'm not comfortable shooting it in the area I hunt due to people being near. I'm hoping to fill at least one of my tags before Dec 19.
