sweet old bill
I am near the town of Oneonta in Delware county NY and so far have not found one that I could recommend for good service and reasonable cost. Do you have one to recommend ?
Lawdwaz
Nick's Archery (Roy Hryckowian) Niagara Outdoors (Jeff Pippard) Doc's Archery (Mark Irlbacher) Little Ridge Archery (Roy) Off the top of my head........those guys are the cream of the crop. Probably close to 200 years of archery experience in those four. (they might not want to think of it that way but I wouldn't be surprised!) Scott at Johnson's is very good also. I'm sure I forgot one or two from our area so forgive me...............................

phade
Idk,sadly Indian Mountain closed down this year. Wow, that's surprising from his level of Mathews sales. But, I'll be honest, I found that guy to be a major "expletive." There's far fewer shops I trust now as time wears on. If I had time, I would invest in the equipment and knowledge gaining to be self-sufficient, but it's one area where I simply have modified my strategy...own bows longer, take good care of them, and there's less need to go into a shop. Plus, I have a lawyer looking at one of my bows now. Apparently, lawyers make good bow tuners? He probably threatens the cams into time, lol. Nomad
Wow, that's surprising from his level of Mathews sales. But, I'll be honest, I found that guy to be a major "expletive." I really really liked Phil. He'd open up when he was closed to help you out. He knew I drove from Webster so he'd often fix what ever or cut my arrows as I waited. Honestly I go to a shop less then once a year, and seldom for work. Bow hunted since late '80's first bow I used for 18 or so years i think i had the cables and string changed once,on my second bow now, can't see getting a 3rd anytime soon. Neal and Guy are great people. I paper tuned my bow there and can't thank Guy enough for allowing me to do that. They really do encourage new shooters to the sport, unlike other pro-shops I've been to.

asav2013
Ajs in caz hands down for me IV got 3 bows and my girlfriends bow from there and there excellent ,will take an hour to make sure your happy with your setup and are satisfied with a line out the door , plus they will help you with more then just equipment , form and shooting also, they have a 30 target 3d course I shot which was pretty nice since I only get to maybe 2 shoots a year with work I can go relieve some stress and shoot the course on my free time,
