Law, I have used them several times....Don't remember if I paid tax or not, but site should tell you that. If they are located in or ship from NY state, then there will be tax.

Any decent garage will mount and balance for reasonable amount.....Obviously do the math to see if what your saving is worth it...if savings isn't great, I would buy local.

I have used them a few times , i also can't remember if i paid tax . I just put tires on my S10 from there and i believe i paid 60 bucks for the dismount ,remount and balance and tire disposal from a local shop. So far ,never a problem with them and they ship fast too.

I added all my information right up to the credit card price and it still didn't have any sales tax added??

I'm still waiting on a price from a good friend who works at a Ford dealership and can get me his quarterly family tire discount.  You never know on these things..........!!

I have checked Discount Tire, Tire Rack, Sam's Club and WalMart.com.  They all make it difficult to compare apples/apples.  TR has a great price on Kumho RV AT KL 78's in 245 75 16.  I'm sure I can get a local yokel to mount them.  Hell I haven't mounted a tire in almost 30 years but I'm sure I could do it and maybe even enjoy it!!

Don't mount them yourself. And deff don't have walmart do anything on your vehicles. Those guys are jokes. You need someone who knows what they are doing to properly balance them or your gonna end up with a crappy ride. I prefer to buy local. Repeat business ends up getting you bigger discounts later on. That and idk how it is around you but a lot of shops around here either quadruple the mount/balance price or just flat out won't do it if you buy the tires someplace else

You need the tires balanced properly . It's no longer a simple job to mount them as each tire has to be programmed correctly as the computer keeps track of each tire pressure and if that isn't done correctly the system will be telling you the wrong tire .

It's no longer a simple deal of slapping on some tires and adding some weight for balance . The garage told me that the price had gone up because they can no longer use lead weights . WTH !

Probably the same crap they are making sinkers out of now. Never considered that but I have noticed the size of the weights seem bigger than they use to.
