wolc123 Posted April 18, 2022 Share Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) Best neck roast I have ever had . 3.5 yr old 9-point, aged 9 days hanging hide-on in our insulated garage and vacuum-sealed prior to freezing. A frozen roast was placed in a programmable crockpot with potatoes and onions and a Ruby Red Kolsch this morning. 8 hours on low then “keep warm” for 2 hours. The best part is, that buck made two of those roasts, so we get to do this again. Plus there is leftovers from the first one for lunch at work tomorrow and more for another “special” meal later this week.
