ID Help Please!!

I found this in WNY while hunting the first week of the archery season.  In a couple of the pics it is sitting on my Iphone for a size reference.  The teeth appear to be serrated and there is area with a few smaller teeth.

 

What do you think it is from?

No idea...I spent a few minutes on Google trying to find something similar with no luck either.  There has to be a scientific forum somewhere you can post it to if no one here has an answer.

I have a deer jaw I'm going g to take to the DEC at some point and I'd take this freaky thing too.

i belive its goats teeth or goat relative, less than 4 years old.. as new teeth have yet to fill in the lower clipping teeth

Looks kinda semi pre historic, like a possum, but I really do not know.

No clue what it is but i would defiantly take it back to the the DEC...you never know what you found.

It took 5 minutes on another site for the answer..........................it's a grass carp of all things!

 

Purrty freaky looking thing IMO.  I'll think twice next time I'm contemplating skinny dipping in Ol Farm Brown's pond. 

 

Might could end up like a Lorena Bobbit victim.

I just looked it up, That's hard to believe & scary! They look worst then Perona teeth! Did you find them in the woods or near a pond? Wonder if they chew their cud? lOl

Is there any water by you. Just wondering if it could be something dropped by a bird. Looks like teeth are in two parts

There are two ponds fairly close.  One is very small and I doubt it came from it but the other is pretty big and I'd guess that is where it came from.  Might be it croaked and the landowner tossed it in the brush and a coon or something drug its carcass around??

 

They were found on the edge of the woods/field.
