New deer blind

So here is the process so far of building dad the best hunting shack for those cold /wet/windy/snowy days. Been talking about this for years and have finally broke the ice. Still have finishing touches left but excited to have a place for dad and the grandkids.

I always wanted to build something like that, but we don't really have a whole lot of open land around here anymore. The older I get, the more I would appreciate some of the creature-comforts that such a rig could provide ..... lol.

If you hold your device horizontal,when taking the picture, the pic's will come out right side up. Don't ask me how it works that way, but it does.

Update. Windows made and installed. Started stairs.... this only leaves caulk, insulation, and some stain...We're geting there.

Update. ..windows in and caulked.  Steps in. Just have to put up railing and iinsulation and we are ready for Gun!!!!

Looking great !!! Just remember to remind everyone "bore of gun out the window before pulling the trigger"  May sound simple enough but some may not know your ears will ring for a week if not.

 

where's the satellite dish ?

Looks like a great place to spend the day hunting. You mentioned insulating it, will you be putting a small heater in there as well?
