Just spent an hour cleaning my bed  rug of all blood.   Looks great now but it ain't easy maintaining a sissy truck.  I envy you macho truck drivers.

Moog, power lifter, big buck killing machine, drives a sissy truck? I don't believe that for a minute!

I use a tarp for the back of my Jeep, but if any blood leaked out I would call it a trophy stain. Hell, about the only time it gets washed is during a rain storm.

I just park uphill in the driveway, turn on the power washer and done in less than five minutes. No macho truck though, just a Nissan Frontier. But since you did such a nice job on your truck bed carpet. Could you get the blood stains out of my camo bibs?.......grin...

My old man had a cap and bedrug on his old F250. While at first I thought the bed rug was dumb. I grew to like it over the years. It held up surprisingly well considering the beating we gave it. My parents have always had 3-5 dogs at a time and bring them on camping trips and stuff which made the bed rug pretty useful in that regard. Dogs were comfy back there.

One time my dad blew his knee out waterskiing while we were camping and wasn't able to bend his leg enough to get into the cab of the truck for a 3 hour ride home to a local doctor. So we put him in the back of the truck with the dogs haha. He claimed that the bed rug made the ride very comfy and was worth the money he spent just for that ride alone.

We did stain it up with deer blood and other stuff over the years but it never bothered us, just clean what you can and forget about it. If you have a cap on the truck, a bed rug makes a solid companion to it.

I use 3x3 carpet tiles I garbage picked from an office renovation. Cut them to fit around the wheel wells and when I throw  a deer in the bed I pull the tiles and stack them up in front of the deer. If they get any blood on them I just toss them and cut a new piece. The work fine and are much better on the knees when I have to climb into truck.

I gotta ask moog....what do you haul that would make you want/need a bed rug as opposed to a regular liner?

Not sure they even have a regular Bedliner in the Raptor from the factory. I can't remember what he had in there before. Was it spray lined moog?

It had a plastic bedliner when I bought it.  Replaced it with the bed rug - it's not a work truck.  Then added the decked storage system, which is awesome for storing hunting gear.   I usually just use a tarp but got lazy this year with a couple deer.  All good now.  Thanks for all the support guys.  Lol

Nothing really.  Don't like the plastic liners and didn't want another spray on.  Don't knock em. They are pretty nice unless you use the truck for hauling dirt, stone, etc.

honest answer- bed rug doesn't scratch the bed like plastic liners.   If you ever removed a plastic liner from a truck, you will know what I mean.  Due to constant vibration, they wear the paint bad.  I like spray on liners but didn't want anything permanent this time.

firewood, chainsaws, compost, live calves, bulk lime, pigs, bark mulch, sawdust, hay, brush etc...

You get the picture.

Seriously, the new storage system look awesome.  I just think, well, it's supposed to be a truck.

If I was using my truck like you do, I would agree. I use it for hunting.  Have an office job and live in the suburbs.   No lime, pigs, calves, mulch or hay.  I do throw the occasional chainsaw in there, along with ladder stands and a deer once in a blue moon.  No problems there.
