Boycott Kawasaki

Recommended Posts

Kawasaki just announced that they will no longer sponsor the show Celebrity apprentice as President Trump has been connected to its production. They have the right to spend their money where they wish. I will exercise the same right and not purchase any of their products in the future!

The Democrats boycotting the inauguration, signs in peoples yards saying "not my president", worthless celebrities and clueless businesses turning their backs and putting their heads in the sand. All have me just shaking my head in disgust. Instead of trying to come together to better this country, they just create more division. It's this division that is putting the USA and the world on a slippery slope. In the past eight years, I have not agreed with Obama and his policies, but he was OUR president! I did not turn my back on him or my country! I did what I could, and "worked", in a small way to do something positive every day to better myself,  my family and my community. The words of the late great Merle Haggert, "If You Don't Love It Leave It" ring as true now as ever before! Wake up! We are all in this together! No matter what political party you belong to. Or what color skin you have. Or what religion you may or may not adhere to. We need to all work together to, Make America Great Again!

In all fairness plenty of people from the right were chanting not my president to Obama. It's the same song and dance for both sides. Just google "obama not my president" and you will see plenty of material.

Obama was OUR president.  Same as trump.   But not everyone sees it that way.

I went to high school that was 50% black 50% white.    I am facebook friends with a lot of classmates.   They are now posting pictures of Obama's (mr. & mrs.)  as there profile picture.   Like they warship him as a g-d, or faith healer.    It's unbelievable actually.

It is A big deal considering he was our first African-American president, regardless of how you view him politically. I'm sure people have a lot of pride in that. I know I would be very prideful if an Italian person was elected president.

Let's see how the protests pan out tomorrow and see if you can make the same statement on Saturday. How many Republican Congress members boycotted Obama's inauguration in 2009?

Protesters are a joke imo.  If you're going to protest because the person you wanted didn't win then you're pathetic. I have no empathy towards protesters who turn violent.

I just looked up how many Republicans missed Obama's inauguration. It seems many of them just happen to go away that weekend.  Coincidence? Lol

I actually did a search on the forum and I did come up with a quote from a member saying that he did not view Obama as his president.

But back to my original comment. I think it's fair to say that many people on the right said Obama was not their president.

Was probably me. Lol. His views are polar opposite to mine. Voted against him both times. Supported anyone that said they would oppose his policies. I'm ok with that. Ok with others doing it now. I wasn't happy for 8 years and luckily after two years Obama lost congress. Trump could as well if he doesn't make the right moves over the next two years. Time will tell

This is a pretty big bummer for me. I've been team green for over a decade. Spent many years on the motocross tracks on my Kawis. Best motocross bikes out there. Never had a break down and my motor on my 450 was protested twice because it pulled hole shots like nobody's business.

Also have a brute force 750 that I like. Just went riding today with some guys from work actually. It ran flawless like always. Sorry boys...I just can't join you boycott this time....

In all fairness, I never heard even one person say that. I never saw anyone looting and burning in the streets. I never saw where anyone got beaten in the streets for voting for Obama. I never heard anyone who boycotted Obama's inauguration. I never heard anyone say that he was not a legitimate winner of the election. I may not have agreed with a whole lot of what he said or did, but I do believe in our system of government, unlike a whole pile of Democrats, anarchists and socialists and worse.

Big difference between "obscure you tube videos" that one has to search for and the main stream news media broadcasting and flaunting that kind of garbage into people's homes on the morning and evening news every chance they get.

I don't disagree with your comment.  The original comment i was debating was that it was only being said from the left.  and its not.  I wrote a response yesterday but somehow it never got posted.  Many republicans just so happened to go in "vacation " during obamas inauguration.  Coincidence? Lol. However the way the peft is handling this is childish.   Id be embarrassed if i was a democrat.

Lets boycott everything that has outsourced CS! Lets see how far that gets us. I for one like having gas in my truck. Not 100% sure, but isn't most of the oil used to make gas bought from other countries? While we have rigs right here in the USA? If we are going to boycott, lets go big or stay home!

I thought Kawie retracted the comment/statement? Sort of a moot argument then isn't it? Just sayin'.

Yes and no. Everyone needs to stop acting like babies with this election! EVERYONE! What did the Republican Party win? Promises we aren't sure will happen. What did the Democrats loose? NOTHING! Everyone is making this election a pipe dream of hopes and dreams, either solidified or failed. Trump sure seems serious, and his goals are good for this country.

Boycott Kawasaki? I mean no offense, but who cares about Kawasaki! Lets boycott illegals and put more emphasis on vetting or blocking terrorists.

At some point the hissy fits need to stop on both sides! So do the riots!

I'll agree the riots need to stop. This shit is getting out of hand. I'm so sick of the articles and FB posts about how DT is so terrible and destroying our country while these same people riot all day and night.

Peaceful protest is one thing. But when riots break out, the police or national guard need to be allowed to step in and stomp those rioting pieces of trash into the ground. Whether it be rubber bullets and tear gas or live rounds, at this point I really don't care. The people rioting are nothing but scum that aren't needed in our society. Lock em up or put em in the ground. Either way, stop their BS!

These companies are not seeing the other side of this, or don't care. A lot of people voted Trump that's why he is president. So they are turning off a lot of Americans by playing politics rather than making product's. It will back fire like the Deplorable comment did. Lets face it when I go buy a Bike I really don't want to put $10000-$25000 into a political Party's pocket. Just focus on making better products in America and keep your politics to yourself. Its No different than those in entertainment, Just entertain us. This will bite them in the end.
