rachunter
Nice quiet afternoon just me and the other loons out. Hit one little smallie then headed to the weed beds for some pickerel action. I definitely need a better boat, hopefully next year.

Marion
Got into maybe 15 bigger smallies , 2 Rockies , hammer handle northern , bunch of gobies , 5 freshwater drum ( so much better sounding than sheephead Very gingerly bouncing 3" Gulp black and white and crayfish off the bottom. We all lost a few bass and sheephead too. South gap along outer wall early and then south gap inside inner wall later. That boat hums at a good clip. Yeah , I can't swim so I'm wearing the gilligans island like life jacket. Forgot to take our good ones. Inside the wall was pretty murky Outside much clearer. Fun day #1 of daughters summer vacation. Now her , mama and SIL just left for Hamilton , Ontario to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm going to get a porcelain crown on a tooth lol. turkeyfeathers
Went to Cabela's yesterday and prepped for next couple of Lake Erie bass excursions. All my life I've never had polarized glasses. Put on daughters other day and realized what I was missing. grampy
Good glass, is just as important for fishing, as it is for hunting! Perfect selection of stuff to put some bronze backs in the boat!
mlammerhirt
Love drop shooting for smallies......prob one of the biggest I have ever hooked into was on a drop shot rig about 4 years ago early June !Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
BizCT
Just noticed this thread. Finally got out there. Fished 745-10am. Pouring rain , then hot and sunny. Wind was rough for rowing. No trout, but got 3 bass (16", 17" and 18"). All released. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New York Hillbilly
Just thought I would share. The fish is an Irish Lord, and the fishing vessel is a crab boat headed out to sea. You just never know what you might reel in here, and the scenery is spectacular. Sitting, fishing at the end of Homer Spit, and still loving Alaska! : )
