Toted a 12 ga. 'Deerslayer 2' with Leupold 1x4 glass, for a long time!   Killed a pile of deer with it too.  Used the Remington Copper Sabots and later the Accutips.   That gun really thumped them!    On both ends.........lol   It's semi retired, now that 4-H went to rifle a few years ago.  But could still lay em out if ever brought back into service!

What........I carried a my 7mm-08 NULA, stoked with 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tips handloads.  

Why.........couldn't decide between  that and my .243Win

Ok ,tomorrow I'm carring my daughters youth model 7mm 08 , with pink muddy camo stock .

Why ? I love that little gun, and it'll handle nice in a stand .

I'm out of state for a week o so but when I get back it will be either my trusty 25 yeae old rem 1187 or rem 700 in 30-06  depending on location I will be hunting that day .  Usually that means shotgun.
