Normally, I'd break out my meade lx200 10" telescope when these opportunities arise, but it's too dzmn cold!

10:15 according to my local news is the start.  Little after midnight it will be a total eclipse.  I'll be totally asleep long before then.

Goosifier has the best weather for viewing, too cold here for me to enjoy it.

Been peeking, will go out for 5 near total eclipse with the binos as ł'm not setting the telescope up in this.

Watching it unfold from inside the house, but there's no way I'm going outside in this sub-zero ice box.  Soon enough, some pro photographer someplace will be posting way better pics than I'll ever take.

Somehow the appeal of laying out on blankets in August to watch the meteor showers became better than standing outside for more than 5 minutes tonight. Through the windows it has become

Agreed. -1° before the wind chill makes it tough to be outside if you're not getting paid or putting meat in the freezer.

ł was out for about 10 minutes with the binos as it was getting close to fully eclipsed.

It could've been a full moon by Megan Fox and I wouldn't have went outside to see it.....brrrrrr.

Peaked out the window about 11ish, was solid clouds, and snow squall.  I did notice in the middle of the night it was sooo bright out, that you could walk without any lights.
