Lol. Yeah hate not to be on the bite when it's this hot though.  Next week it's supposed to be 94-95 all week.  That can sure put the walleye down.  We tend to be about done most years by Aug 1 anyway.  

Then pickup a few more in the fall in late Sept or off shore in October at night.

Hit up Hemlock this morning. Took home 30 bluegills and 3 big rock bass. Fish fry tomorrow!

Wasn't gonna fish. Wide awake at 4:15.  Might as well fish. Limit by 7:30 and some white perch. Lost a couple of decent eyes and 3 shorts back in.

Boat that came in behind me had a 3 man limit like we did prior 2 days.  I am sure it will slow down real soon , esp after this week it seems it would have to.  Def been a great year of fishing.

 Not the same comparison.  You cant eat 1000 inches antlers , but you can stuff your plate with 100 meals with 1000 inches of fish !

Lake Ontario was nice and calm this morning.  Baby Plav fishing report:  5 perch and about 1000 gobies.

Took our kayak out for the first time in 2 yrs.  Jenn, and I have never fished together, but I bought her a pink fishing pole for Christmas since she’s mentioned going over this last winter.  Today was the first time out with the pole, and she got herself this nice fish today! Same fish l, I just was the hook remover lol.

Looks like you were the designated paddler also ! Its fun being the Guide isn't it.

Now that she is hooked on fishing with that new rod , you are going to be doing an awful lot of hook removal !

Heading out to Saratoga Lake for some LM action, with my old neighbor. He let's me hunt his property, for the price of one fishing trip each year. Great guy. We always have a bunch of fun and laughs.

Will come back later to let ya know how we did.

Finally got up to camp. Went out after dinner last night and the bass were biting. Caught 7 in the 14 - 17 inch range.

Thats a "trophy" goby.  I think that guy probably got big by eating a buncha small ones. 

Thanks God they don't get bigger... they would be fun to catch, but they would eat everything.

Had a great day on Saratoga Lake. Put a bunch of LM bass in the boat. A light chop, made boat position a bit harder, fishing main lake structure. But it also helped with the bite.

Only got an hour on the lake after dinner tonight but was fortunate for this fatty...tackle box is 16"...also had two loons pop up behind me and while taking picture had a bald eagle fly over. Both are in the shot but, you can't really tell what either is. The black dot middle left is eagle and two black dots on the water are the loons
