Wasp BOSS 125gr. Been using them for 16/17 seasons now. Couldn't recommend them any more than I already have. Fly true and leave nice juicy trails. But usually they just flip over in sight like 30 yards run. They're fantastic!

27 inch, about 385 grain, 400s, with 100 grain broadheads @ 13% foc pushed with 60 pounds. Or same with 125 grain bh making them about 410 grain and 16% foc. Weights are approx as I am converting grams to grains on a postal scale.

Or 5575 gold tip which are close to the same as the 400s. They impact about the same, but haven't paper tuned the 5575 yet.

Unless I go old school and break out the 2016 xx75s, which at this point is unlikely.

I got some black eagle 300 spine with 85 gr inserts and 125gr single bevel broadhead. They weigh 560 grains total, more if i go with lighted nocks. I am still debating that. FOC is around 18%.
I shoot 60# at 30" DL,i get around 245 fps out of my halon x with these.

I think I'm getting around 260 but will be checking

I know I wrote max hunter vanes but I put blazers on the last arrows I built.

Just weighed all 12 of my maxima reds you recommended. All bare shafts weighed exactly 262 grains. Thank you again for an incredible recommendation!

27" Victory VForce V1 .001 ( elite enforcers) 50 grain insert, 100 grain 4 blade magnus black hornet serrazor, Nocturnal. About 425 grains total. Year 3 with these, they hold up well, my number 1 arrow has been through 4 deer, number 2 arrow 2 deer. I bought 3 dozen when they were $70 a doz.

These are Easton FMJ Injexion 330 at 29.5". 125 grain tip makes them 500 total. I messed with four fletch AAE but I always return to my dark mistress, the Blazer. FOC IS 12.2%. I still haven't chosen a broadhead

What's everyone else sending? Lost em up!14c71ba9e4f74f0fb93541d1a842ce4b.jpge64fc96ae8cff9c12bf52552e5efa59b.jpg

Reading this post was like Chinese arithmetic.... I just take an arrow to a shop and say give me six more. My quiver has three different arrows with two or three different fletchings and three different broad heads , Mangus stinger plain edge, serrated and Black hornets .

If it works for you, go for it. I haven't mixed arrows though. I have 4 sets of arrows that perform about the same from my bow at my usual 20 yd hunting distance.

This is the 1st year that I paper tuned my arrows even though I've killed and recovered numerous deer over 25 yrs without doing that, or measuring what my foc was, etc. I like improving my set up, so I can be the best that I can be. Paper tuning, measuring foc, confirming spine charts, etc....and most importantly, practice, make me feel like I've done that.

Still new to bow hunting, but I’m into knowing specs. I don’t build myself but here’s what I have for setup.

Victory RIP Gamer 400 Spine. 28.75” long with 100gr SlickTrick Broadheads. They are 370 grains, but my hunting ones are 377 grains (7 more for Nokturnals lighted nocks).

I recently bought more 6 more from Lancaster Archery. Same model and specs. All were cut perfectly and fly great. However, one change with the new model is they have an extra 35 grains (405-ish total) because the outserts where FP/BH attaches is heavier. Supposedly it adds to FOC? I shot them today and they were slightly lower than my current arrows. I guess it makes sense as heavier = slower. Once I use my 7 remaining arrows, I’ll Resight in someday for the 6 newer ones.

Red vs Yellow shows the difference between 370gr and 405gr at 25yds.

Btw I’m shooting 51lbs this year, Mathews HTX around 250fps.

TCIII calculated my FOC at 10-13% depending on the arrow weight
