phantom
Well the thing is i need everything muzzleloader primers bullets . I looked online all i see is out of stock on everything i want . And you cant get powder or primers out of stock . So i want to just go into a store someplace and buy everything and not have to worry about not getting powder or primers for it before the season . Daveboone
Central NY is a desert....Runnings has a bunch of stuff, but it is very inline oriented ( I am traditional patch and ball). I get everything online. Track of the Wolf is good, and very quick with shipping. Dixie Gun Works has been around a long time, but their web site stinks and shipping is slow. Primers...I would call locally. Remember, worse case scenario with shotgun type primers...you can use shotgun primers. Just check them for ignition first, especially with black powder substitutes. Ra-lins in Syracuse had black powder last thursday, you might call them if you need powders or primers. 1
Splitear
Shipping costs are the killer for online ordering of powder and ignition supplies. Bob’s Bait Shop in Corinth usually has good supply, though I haven’t been in this year. 1

Your probably going to have to piece it out on line . https://www.grafs.com/ https://www.muzzle-loaders.com/ https://www.wideners.com/ https://www.harvestermuzzleloading.com/ https://www.trackofthewolf.com/ https://www.muzzleloading-bullets.com/ https://www.scheels.com/c/reloading https://www.powdervalleyinc.com/ Hope you can find something to your liking . 3

And they jack up the shipping cost for powerd and primers . Edited October 4, 2021 by phantom
SportsmanNH
The only 209 primers I can find anywhere that are actually in stock is on Gunbroker . Sometimes you just have go with whats there or risk not having it when you need it. I know , it sucks , but thats what we have to put up with . I looked at the price tag on the 100 packs of Triple777 , CCI Magnum 209 , and the Winchester Shotshell 209 primers I bought in Sept of 2019 . The most expensive was 10 bucks . Now they are 75-90 . https://www.gunbroker.com/Black-Powder-Muzzleloaders/search?Keywords=209 primers&Sort=13

phade
I've come across a fair number of primers in mom and pop shops in past few weeks. Overpriced but they will fit the bill. I'd be focusing my searches there IMO. I've seen Remington and Winchester 777 ML primers. Haven't seen CCI 209M though, which are my favorite. Same with others I have one "tin" of them that has 100. That should get me 2-3 seasons in most circumstances.
DirtTime
No clue of your location, but a couple weeks ago Franks Gun Shop in Perth had everything in stock. I wish I had had time to get out there but, an almost 2 hour drive one way wasn't in the cards. Even with the gas it would have been cheaper then shipping powder or primers. Most places have a minimum $30 hazmat fee. If you're within a few hours of them I would give a call and see what they have in stock. The odds of finding everything in one place are low these days. Between factories being short staffed and not able to keep up with the demand, staff in some stores hoarding shipments for self/friends, and people buying up everything they can, stock is low everywhere. I just went through this about two months ago. I was nervous about having this stuff shipped, but luckily everything worked out. My biggest fear was the thieves we have around the area, I just made sure to be home when deliveries were due. A few of the guys on here helped me out with some bullets to sight in with, some hunting bullets, and primers. They wouldn't take any money so I payed it forward by shipping a buddy who just had the muscles in his arm repaired a care package of items he can use to occupy his time in the recovery center, and giving another buddy a donation to help cover cost of his mothers bills due to medical issues. I would be calling every shop within $20-30 worth of gas and asking what they had. If you have to drop that cost on shipping you may as well spend it in gas to get the items and go in person.

Franks is a great shop. I've never looked at their muzzleloading supplies, but they usually have a good stock of stuff. If you follow their Facebook page, they will give updates when new stuff comes in. I'm not on Facebook much, but I will check their page fairly regularly.
