Uptown is a textbook progressive. What's great about the people on this site is we accept him and deal with him. If we were all in his world he would not tolerate us for one second. I think seeing them while being elbow deep in a deer carcass would be more natural than a coyote trying to prevent anyone from checking their cams,lol To me, that just sounds like an excuse to ignore season dates and take a crack at any opportunity that presents itself so why not just come right out and say it the way FSW does. At least he doesn't try to sugar coat it. If you're approached by a pack during deer season then by all means light 'em up if it's that threatening. Season is open then and you're likely already armed to begin with. Day or night fire away! Like I said, the odds of this yote standing guard over Eddies cams during daylight is slim to none anyhow. It's good for storytelling to create more fear mongering about the "ferocious coyote" is about all it really is.

Sensible gun control?? This is what their gun proposals do if enacted. Anyone who finds this sensible has no respect for Constitutional rights or Rule of Law. This is why the NRA fights against it. This is why it's dangerous to our freedom. This is why people who want it are stupid. First, who defines what prevents someone from legally buying a firearm? And how accurate is the input to the system? Second, there isn't just one terror watch list, and the lists that exist are based on secret evidence not up for judicial review. So people like the Weekly Standard's Steve Hayes wrongly end up on a list with little recourse for getting off. Denying basic constitutional rights without due process is not a solution — unless you're a statist hell bent on undermining the Second Amendment.

Any cam is only as impressive as what it manages to capture in front of it. 1 or 100...the number just means you have an increased chance of one of them being the best cam going...

Well unfortunately, they are not using any financial incentives anywhere in NYS one way or another. I am convinced that if you want people to harvest does, you do not do it by starting to charge them for the opportunity. Even in the areas that are not in the super high deer density WMUs, they are still issuing permits in most areas And I am assuming that the intent is to have hunters use them to help manage the population. The idea even in these less populated areas still is to have tags in hunters pockets allowing doe harvest opportunities rather than sitting in a database as an unissued opportunity.

The entire EU thing is even more screwed up than US politics. So when did hunters become such pussies? When they started seeing what roams around in the dark the next day on their cams or WHAT? SERIOUSLY, how many here can say they've ever felt threatened by a yote? I'm not talking about being skeered by their yips and yaps 100 yards away. I mean full blown stand offs where the only course of action would have been to shoot the beast or become lunch for the pack. I doubt too many..... if ANY!
