  1. Chippewa Super Loggers Size 11.5E #25405 Only wore 2-3x. Bought for my son and he doesnt like them, Wants new cowboy boots instead. Paid just over $300 for them. American Made Asking $200
  2. Bought several hundred rounds a few weeks ago, ammo was at my door a week later.
  3. It happens alot, I know of several guys. ITs funny how they say they are more accurate yet these guys still lose several deer every season when using them. No less than they lost every year with a bow before that. IT always comes down to the person using the implement rather than the implement itself. I dont report them, they will have their day someday.. as long as they stay off my lands. They can do what they want to do..
  4. There's something special about backyard plots. Nice3 work sir! You and the wildlife will benefit greatly from that. A wall of security is so crucial. Good stuff!! I have a 1/2 acre plot behind my house i planted with soybeans, alfalfa, Ladino clover, MEd red clover, Sunn Hemp, Sun flower and PTT. My wife or 15 yr old can sneak out to and hunt when we cant travel to camp/lease.
  5. The day my boy smashed his first wall worthy buck. At 15 yards with his bow. Such a wild morning! He’s addicted to big bucks now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just to be out in the wild embracing the simple things in life. To provide food at our Dinner Table. To get the kids to enjoy the finer things in life and be efficient providers as well. To make memories with family in gods creation.
  7. I us emy rubber gun rack. works great. But a well built wooden box works well also.
  8. You wont accomplish stumps with anything less than a big tractor. Unless you have a bucket and or the stumps are quite small. Without beating up on a your machine, small garden tractor or atv. Stumps can be brutal. Your budget is important in your decision. I would have your welds fixed and save that for your field mower. And just get a new yard machine and whatever else you may want. You can modify the front of the mower deck on the old one to be a tall grass brush cutting machine. They also make brackets where each one of your spindles on your mower deck can accept another blade on it. So you have double the amount of blades spinning, but it turns your machine into an animal for heavy grasses. They would be in the shape of an X under each spindle.
  9. Agreed. But from many animals local to our area. I've learned color doesn't necessarily mean anything. Coyotes, (though rare) can be black, red, or German Shepard colored. Deer, Fox, vermin, every species( I would imagine) can have a wierd or off color to them one way or another. Pretty neat though! Wish we had them around here. Theyre gorgeous critters
  10. On point with all of this! Great stuff.
  11. Theres no better blend to have in a back yard plot! And this is what I do with my back yard plot as well. Good stuff sir. I love watching wildlife from the deck
  12. .222 but my buddy kills piles of NY deer with his.. People forget the military uses a 556 to kill humans.. the difference is minimal. Select the right bullet and place your shot. Anything can happen. Are there better choices, yes. But that's not what was asked.. I purchased my 22.250 specifically because it had a 10 twist barrel on it. to better suit windy days and heavier bullets.. I also plan down the road to build a fast twist 22.250
  13. Yep, step 5 ft away from the tractor and their moving along lol. Good stuff
  14. Pic 1 & 3 looks like same buck possibly. 2.5-3.5 Pic 2 solid 3.5-4.5 yr old
  15. Yes, absolutely. Just need the right bullet. I will be using mine this year on some Doe hunts. You need a good soft point bullet that will hold up and not explode. The speed alone will basically drop every deer in its tracks providing you double lung them. My buddy uses one every year. And drops good bucks in their tracks well over 200 yards. Just be good with your shot and bullet and you will have great success. IT sunder estimated for its bullet weight, but completely capable of dropping deer in their tracks.
  16. I just traded a few cases of beer for one of these. A mans best tool lol
  17. Me as Always, My drive to whitetail hunt diminishes every year.
  18. Idk if confirmed, but he told me EHd. And i dint argue it. Also said he knows others who found dead deer all across the area...
  19. Your mixed greens i wouldnt cut as it will probably kill your brassica plants growing. since most are not the forage type. And the clovers, i wouldnt cut either. Let the deer do the mowing, ITs september. Maybe just cut high and knock the grass down.
  20. Yes My camp neighbor lives there and found two bucks last week dead. It doesn't sound good
